Hello Everyone, my name is Leonia. This will be my first book on Wattpad and I just wanted to let everyone know that this book is a remastered version of "The Delavega Name." So hopefully you will enjoy this as much as I have written it. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

My name is LeToya DelaVega, I'm 24 yrs old and live with my mum (Helena Josè) and Baba (everyone calls him Papa J) but ever since I was a baby I've always called him Baba and it has stuck with me ever since, growing up was different for me compared to everyone else my age.

My mum was so beautiful and stunning, people thought that she was my sister... but as breathtaking as she was she trained me at a young age in combat fighting like MMA, guns, technology and cyber hacking hahaha, I'm pretty sure it's illegal but hey we're good at covering our tracks as well.

My Baba who is my grandfather has been helping mum raise me when they found out she was pregnant. I don't know my father at all but it's not like I grew up without a father figure.
Baba or as everyone else calls him Papa J has been my father figure, he's taught me everything about engineering, taught me how to dance... but most importantly he's taught me how to love myself.

My mum doesn't really talk much about my dad, but when I do bring him up, she would always say that they were completely inseparable... their love for each other was like no other, they knew the first time they ever laid eyes on each other that they were their one and only... but, if that was true then why aren't they together?

I couldn't help but think that it was because of me, but my mum always said that my dad had to do some things that were considered... dangerous, and she couldn't deal with all of that and didn't want me to know what my father did as a job. She said that in order to protect me from that life she hid her pregnancy from him... but mum also said that when the time was right she would tell him, I've waited 24 years for her to say something... anything, so I asked myself each year, is there ever a right time?
I always hoped that one day, I'll get to finally meet him.

My mum didn't want me to think that my father would never love me so when I was born she gave me my fathers' last name as my surname too. It's the only thing that I have of him.

I don't have many friends.. I was always the shy and quiet girl at school, but of course boys always tried to stick their hands in my cookie jar, but I would break their fingers everytime they tried. And no... I'm not a virgin either, but that's another story which I will tell you later on, along with the same reason I stopped being shy, to understand me you have to listen to my story.

It's a Friday night and I'm working at the Gentlemen's Lounge.. Which is a strip club, I've been working here for about 5 years now, it's really good money and it's always busy. Of course mum didn't like me working there at first but then when I told her how I got my job and what I was doing well, she let me go.
I'm doing my usual rounds by checking the bar, checking the rooms and checking up on the girls, my role here is very important and my boss is my best friend... Jana.

"Hey girl!! How's everything out there?" Jana said, "It's good, no one's causing trouble... but the night isn't over yet." I said as I leaned against the door frame, "Yeah that's true, but let's just hope that nothing happens, I would hate to see a grown man cry if he ever messes with you." Jana says with laughter at the end of her sentence. I laughed as well and said " Nah.. if they are smart then they won't start anything.. But I got you if things get out of hand." Jana just smiled and replied " Thanks Leti... honestly having you disguised as a waitress but really your my security guard is genius!"
