I woke up to my alarm clock. Great, it's Monday!

I sat up and walked to the bathroom to get ready. I was trying to be positive, even though that I would have to deal with Richard Bowen today!

He is honestly so annoying. He chews gum, he rocks up and down on his chair, he chews his pen and the worst part is that I have to sit next to him in almost every single lesson!

I walked down the stairs, meeting Moma D sitting on the sofa, ringing her boss from work. I listened to her conversation, not to be nosy, just to make sure that she was ok!

"Look Ben, I have to go now, but um thanks for calling me!" She sounded so sad.

"Moma, I'm going to leave now!"

"Ok honey, make sure that you get some breakfast from the cafeteria!"

"I will, bye!"

I wonder why she was so upset!

"Hey dude, um, can I ask you something?!" Big Red asks whilst I paused the video game that was playing on the TV.

"Yeah, what's up?!"

"You know that East High picks our valentine this year?!"

Oh shit, I sort of forgot about that!

"Umm yeah!"

"Well, I hope that I get Ashlyn Caswell but I doubt that that will happen"

"Wait, Ashlyn Caswell, as in EJ Caswell's cousin?"

"Yeah"

I can't believe that he likes EJ's cousin. Like he is the biggest bighead that I have ever met!

"Well, I don't know Ashlyn very well but I am happy for you, I hope that you get her as your valentine!"

"Thanks, I hope that you get Gina Porter!"

Yeah, I like this girl who sits behind me in robotics. Her name is Gina and she just moved her like a month ago, I hope that she is my valentine!

"Thanks dude!" I smiled at him.

I am starting to feel better about this whole thing!
