Chapter 8

Yanyang was woke because of the sunshine glowing in his melanin skin. He sat rubbing his eyes and acknowledging his surroundings. Then he remembered the things that happened. He pulled out his sleeve to see the tattoo. He admired it for a couple of seconds.

Before he slowly moved around his friend's house to see whether the others have left. He then witnessed the 'Markhyuck' couple cuddling but still sleeping. They looked so comfortable with each other. Yangyang wondered whether he would have these with his soulmate or not.

His thoughts were cut off by a voice, "Morning". He turned to see, it was Lucas with two cups, one which he gave it to Yangyang.

Yangyang whispered a thanks as he took the cup.

"Such a cute couple, right?" He asked, while sipping his coffee. Yangyang could only nod his head repeatedly.

"Gosh, I miss mine. She is in Japan right now" Lucas said, pouting to which he just chuckled a bit.

"Where are the others?" Yangyang asked finally recognising that none of his friends are here.

"They left early. And also, Yuri just left without saying anything. And I did notice that you were with her last night. Did something happen?" Lucas asked.

Yangyang hesitated to answer, "Hyung" and he showed his wrist where his soulmate tattoo was imprinted beautifully in black.

Lucas spilled the coffee that he was drinking, shocked. "WHAT? She is your soulmate?" he asked almost waking up the couple. If it wasn't for Yangyang calming him, he must be going overboard.

After calming down he said, "It is a good thing, Yangyang. She seems like a good kid. Plus, she is also beautiful"

"But, hyung.... I feel like I don't deserve her" He answered biting his lower lip, guiltiness overflowing inside him.

"Why is that so?" Lucas asked raising his eyebrows in confusion.

Yangyang explained everything that happened between them, even about last night. He can always rely on Lucas. He was more like his own brother.

After hearing everything Lucas answered, "Well... It is partially your fault. But everyone makes mistakes, Yangyang. If you really regret the things you did, then it is nothing. She just needs some time, she will come around. Just give her some time and don't force her or do anything that could hurt her. You know soulmates can't survive without eachother right? So, stay positive. It may take some time. But, surely happen one day"

He hummed and said, "Thanks, hyung. It was good speaking with you"

Lucas just proudly nodded and said, "Anytime. And also did you know the bond that you share with her, is way stronger than you think it is"

"How?"
"It is really rare to get the tattoo before your birthday. For a normal bond, even if their soulmate make a physical contact with them, the tattoo won't appear immediately. It will take sometime. But yours, just appeared all of a sudden. So, you both share a very strong bond, than you guys think" Lucas replied flashing a smile at the younger.

On the other hand, Yuri was confused when she woke up from her bed. She didn't know whether to accept it or not.

It all escalated all of a sudden that she didn't have time to think about it. She then saw the tattoo that shone brightfully on her hand.

Part of her was happy, while the other part was still angry with her soulmate. She was confused about everything.

Except one thing, she is not gonna reveal anything about her soulmate to her brothers until she is ready.

She just groaned as many things ran on her mind, making her stressed. As it was sunday, she planned to rest for some more time.

She layed on her bed, seeing the blank ceiling as her eyelids closed out of tiredness.
