Chapter 18

< Mina's P.O.V >

"Chaeyoung sent us a letter!"

I quickly run to the living room upon hearing Jihyo's voice- I found them sitting on the couch while the others are on the floor, Jihyo is in the middle- sitting on the couch and holding a paper but more like a letter. I joined them and sat on the headrest of the couch, behind Jihyo

"Dear Twice" Jihyo starts reading what is written on the paper "I'm doing good in here, I know this may take weeks before you receive this letter but I prefer on writing for you this way... As I am now staring at blue sky, I'm starting to miss all of you- I wish you're seeing the same sky... I'm actually missing my parents Nayeon unnie and Jeongyeon unnie, no one scolds me and takes care of me the same time in here" Nayeon unnie's eyes started to get wet after hearing that, Jeongyeon pat her back to comfort her "I was hungry this morning, and Momo unnie was the first person who came into my mind, I miss sharing food with her... Anyway, I woke up late that's why I missed my breakfast- maybe it's because there's no Jihyo unnie in here that can wake up the whole neighborhood... or maybe because I don't smell the kitchen burning in the morning because of Sana unnie" We all laugh at the same time because of that "I actually felt uncomfortable on my first night, no one's rocking the bed from underneath, and that's when I realized that I'm not sleeping on a bunk anymore and there's no Dahyunie below my bed." Dahyun hugs Momo out of nowhere "I'm sure that Tzuyu's doing fine, now that she don't have to stand between me and Dahyun unnie whenever we have a petty fight... And to my Mina-" All of them looks at me

"My Mina?!" Nayeon unnie utter

Jihyo ignored her and continue reading the letter "I hope she's doing fine... Love, Son Chaeyoung"

"That's it?" I am actually disappointed on her letter

"She called you 'My Mina' and just say 'I hope she's doing fine' ???" Sana

"Should we write her back?" Tzuyu

"I think we should email our respond to her" Jeongyeon

"Yeah, that's a good idea... It's more convenient" Jihyo took the laptop and switch it on

They're now in front of the laptop and typing their message for Chaeyoung

"Mina is there anything you want to say?"

I get off the couch and put myself in front of the laptop, then I start typing but end up deleting it "I have nothing to say"

I get up and went into our room, I know their  foreheads are now creasing at me but I really have nothing to say, well not through email.

Chaeyoung invest her time and effort writing for us through snail mail, So I'll do the same and give all of my effort to her.

I took a paper and pen then started writing

We receive another snail mail from Chaeyoung after almost four months

"Dear Twice

I forgot to tell you about my roommate named Bea, she's as the same age as Jeongyeon unnie, but she doesn't want me to call her unnie- just Bea she said..

I've learned so many things from her, I can say that I'm fluent in English now because of her, though she's a bit stubborn sometimes, but she's a good person. She even taught me how to drive

We went drinking last night, and I don't know if I should be proud or worried that I didn't went home drunk after finishing 15 bottles of beer...
