The door burst open and out gushed Molly Weasley.
"Oh, Hermione!" The older witch scooped the witch into her chest and held her as tight as she could. "I am never going to let you out of my sight, if that is the last thing I do!" She promised as she held the dainty witches face in her hands. Hermione smiled as Molly kissed Hermione all over her face repeatedly.

Harry then came wuthering into the room, and with such force, the door bounced off the wall and left a dent. He wore the biggest smile on his face when his eyes met with hers.

He had expected the witch to jump into his arms, but was met with trembling limbs, a fluttering heart, a caged bird with a broken heart.

"Harry!" She sobbed as she floated into his arms. She was almost was unrecognizable. Burying her face into his neck. He squeezed her tightly as tears began to drip into her hair. Merlin, he missed her.

He hugged her tighter as he became aware that he was afraid that if he let her go, she would be gone again. He could feel her ribs poking through her skin... If the bloke that did this to her wasn't dead, he would have killed the man. He knew enough people who would make it look like it was all accident.

Just then, she felt someone's body press against her from behind. Their chin plopped on top of her head, and the familiarly musky scent settled in her nose. Hermione stiffened momentarily when she felt their arms around both of them.
"Ron!" She grunted as he squeezed them both tightly. She tried to look up from being sandwiched between the two wizards, but her efforts were in vein. The golden trio laughed at such a happy reunion.

Ron chuckled when he let her turn around to give him a proper hug.

Being hugged by him, felt like home, even though she knew that wasn't her home anymore.

Before she was deemed missing two years prior, she wasn't allowed to see anyone, and she never thought she would live to see the day to have them all at arms reach again. Four years was a long time.

"You guys have no idea how much I've missed you two!" Hermione hated that her voice cracked when she spoke

It was then, her heart skipped a beat when her eyes caught Minerva standing in the doorway. The two Gryffindors embraced as the witch cooed and planted a kiss on her forehead. She whispered sweet nothings as she held the younger Gryffindor in her arms. Minerva didn't try to be discreet about the tears trickling down her cheeks.

There was not a dry eye in that room as their hearts mended with their Hermione safely put back into their lives. They all locked away this moment and savoured the time they had been hoping to have ever since she had been missing.

Time somehow had escaped them all as they fondly savoured the time with their Hermione. When Harry spoke, they all grimaced at the thought that they would have to lock away this moment and save it for another time to look back on. This was the moment they had all been waiting for, hoping for, longing for, and fighting for.

"The others are waiting," Harry said, as everyone gathered themselves.

"Others?"

"Everyone, Hermione!" Ron said cheerfully.

Hermione looked up with bewilderment

"Some of us were told you were dead, but now you are here, alive. You were taken from us, given a promise that we would stay in-touch. Yet, here we are, you are back at home. We are celebrating the witch that lived and still lives." Harry offered a smile.
