Howard made his way to Sci's room to wake her up for school, it was her first day!!
The door knob slowly turned and he entered her room.
" sci" he whispered in a calming tone while unplugging her from her machine
" it's time to get up"
" Just five more hours dad"
" come one love, you need to get ready for school" he answered while messing her hair
" Can't I just be homeschooled ?"
" Come on champ, it is going to be fun"
" if you say so" Sci replied while attempting to go back to sleep
Howard left her room and entered the kitchen to make breakfast.
" she is going to love this"
he sang to himself while mixing the batter for waffles
" dad !"
Sci called from the hall
" yes, what's the matter?"
Sci walked into the kitchen wearing her uniform and a confused look on her face
"do you think the kids will like me?"
" why do you think not?"
" won't they think I am weird because I am different?"
Howard left the waffles and immediately went to hug his daughter
" honey you are not a monster so don't call yourself one, the others will love you"
After their heartwarming moment they quickly ate the breakfast and hurried to school
" Have fun"
Howard said while kissing SCI'S forehead
" I will, so don't worry"
" it is impossible for me to not worry, I love you Sci"
" I love you too dad"
Howard soon drove off and SCi stood there watching him disappear
" Excuse me, are you Sci Norris ?"
a curly red headed ,green eyed, energetic girl approached Sci.
" yes?"
"oh great, hi I am sophie, I am supposed to show you around the school"
" oh.. ok"
" right this way please"
Sophie grabbed hold of Sci's hand and started the tour
we finally approached my classroom after a thirty minute tour around the school compound.
Sophie's hand curled into a fist and she knocked onto the door
" come in"
A soft voice could be heard from the other side
" ma'am I've brought Sci Norris"
" thank you Sophie , head on down to class now dear ."
" yes ma'am"
after sophie went to her class sci was left standing Akwardly in the door frame
" come on in Sci"
