The Girl's POV:

I woke up with a banging feeling in my head, I let out a groan, and for a while, I refused to open my eyes, I sat up slowly, and held my head in my hands, I felt pretty sick, when I finally opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was Bandit.

My little mouse pup hurried up to see if I was ok, I softly smiled at her and pet her head, as we sat there curled up together, I started to hear voices of several girls.

At the sound, my head shot up, I held it momentarily from pain, before looking around for a place to hide, after I couldn't find one, I hurried to a window, since there was no glass, I heaved Bandit through it, then climbed through myself, not long after I had done this, I could hear confused voices and people searching for us.

Silently I coaxed Bandit to follow me away, we traveled around until we stumbled upon a golden glowing tree, my mind reeling at what we were seeing, I was slowly figuring out where I had woken up, but it had to be impossible.

We entered the tree, both our blue eyes scanned around the area, I couldn't help but feel in awe at what I was looking at, while we looked around, a voice called out behind us.

"Welcome little ones." The calm, motherly tone was enough to shock me into yelping as we turned around quickly to see a brunette woman with a golden flower petal dress and a golden hue surrounding her, but what really caught my attention were the golden butterfly shaped wings behind her.

I didn't answer, and Bandit didn't make a sound either, I was frozen in place, tense and ready to run, the woman flew closer to me, I backed a bit but was stopped by a gentle hand on my shoulder, I looked up at the brunette's blue eyes, afraid and confused, before she spoke.

"You are safe here little phoenix." Her words helped me feel calmer and soothed my fears, as if my own mother was talking to me, the name she called me didn't make sense to me but, I wasn't too bothered, I could hear voices calling out behind me and stiffened, turning to look a group of six girls with wings appeared, one was older than the other five.

"Queen Clarion, the girl is missing." The elder woman called out, before noticing me and going silent, I took a look at the other girls who also went silent, taking in how they looked.

One had brown hair tied up in a braid, with brown eyes and faint freckles across her face, wearing a orange dress seeming to be made of some type of plant.

Another had dark blue hair, brown eyes, with light skin tone and a light blue flower petal dress, she seemed more spacey than the other girls.

The next one had a yellow sunflower petal dress with a sunflower seed attached to it, her skin tone was darker than all the other fairies, along with her black hair that she kept up in a bun and brown eyes.

The fourth fairy was seemed to be a well-mannered lass, she had light skin tone, with green eyes and reddish auburn hair, she wore a pink flower with a red petal made into a cardigan.

the last fairy seemed to just be bored of the whole situation, her grey-blue eyes were looking to the corner with disinterest, probably dragged here by the others, she had dark purple hair and a light skin tone, she wore a dress that seemed to be made by purple leaves, with two separate shades that that I couldn't name.

After I scanned each girl a voice came from behind me, as I felt a gentle hand rest on my shoulder once again, I turned to look behind me to see the woman I now know as Queen Clarion.

"These young fairies are known as, Fawn, Silvermist, Iridessa, Rosetta and Vidia." She told me, pointing out each girl to me, each fairy apart from Vidia waving to me, I shyly waved back at them, before waiting, I guess for my own name, I felt a little hesitant, before a warmth from around my neck made me feel more at ease.

"... Nothing, my name.... is Nothing." my voice wavered as I felt hesitant to speak my own name, while I spoke I had looked away, I could feel them all staring at me, the silence was broken by a fit of laughter, we all looked to find Vidia hovering in the air holding her stomach as she laughed.

I looked away while she was scolded by the Queen, one of her friends came over to me, petting Bandit as she passed her, I looked over at the brown eyed girl, her freckles were more visible now.

"I'm sorry about her." Fawn told me, I shrugged at her words, my stormy grey-blue eyes looking away.

"There's no need to apologize, I'm used to it." my words didn't seem to help, in fact we over heard the Queen telling Vidia that as punishment, she was to clear away the meadows of any pests, sending the girl away, before turning to the rest of us.

"Now, I believe we should discuss that key around your neck little one." She addressed me, I took notice that even though she now knows it, Queen Clarion hasn't yet used my name, I looked at the key that hang off my chest, the heterochromic eyes seemed to stare back into my soul.

"What about it?" I asked, thinking back to when I first saw it, I shuddered slightly at the memory of the pain, grasping my hand at the phantom pain.

"It's very special, an object I've only ever heard about in the old fairy lore, The Key Of The Phoenix Wolf." She told me, I looked at the design, the name made the wolf head and the wings made more sense now.

"I don't understand." I spoke, holding the object in my hands, looking down at it, it's red and blue eyes seemed to shine back at me, I could've sworn I saw a brief flash of white in them, but I wrote it off as my imagination.

"That key is said to hold a lot of power, the legend says it was crafted under the light of the moon, many creatures around our world have tried to claim it's power for their own desires, but it only shows itself to those with no malicious intent, you must keep it safe, and we will help you as well as protect you." She told me, causing me to freeze, I've now basically been told I have a massive responsibility on my hands

"That's... actually really fucking terrifying." I managed to find my voice after a few minutes, the girls around me seemed surprised at my language, though I didn't pay much attention to them, looking down at the key that seemed to hang heavier around my neck.

it stayed silent for a moment, before we heard the spoke again, causing all five of us plus Bandit to looked up at her.

"Perhaps the girls can show you around, while some other fairies make you a place to stay." She told us, the 4 girls around me quickly agreed, Rosetta grabbing my arm and leading me away, the action caused me to jump slightly, before following, allowing myself to be lead away, Bandit following close behind us.
