Do you still love me?

Carly,

Once I heard Kevin's voice all the pain that I had felt started coming back. He always had me trapped, but when I finally got out he just brought me back in.

"Boy I'm yelling at you! Now get the fuck out my face and let my damn-" He punched me in my face before I could finish my sentence.

"Carly I did-" I cut him off before he could finish his sentence.

"No Kevin you're always sorry after somebody gets hurt."

It was already about 7:00p.m., I left out of the bathroom to grabbed my car keys and my purse. Daniel was laying in the bed watching tv.

"Baby where you going?" He asked causing me to stop and turn around.

"Out for a little while I'll be back in a couple of hours." I said with a slight smile not telling him about Kevin. If he knew I was going to get Kevin he would kill me and him.

"Alright is everything cool Carly? With us?"

"Yes of course." I walked over to him and pecked his lips. "I love you I'll be back soon."

"Ight be safe." I walked downstairs quietly trying not to wake up Daniel's parents. I grabbed my coat out of the closet and shut the door.

"Where we off to?" Daniel's dad said in the kitchen pouring some soda.

"I'm just going to check on a friend and make sure he's okay." I said as I was zipping my coat up.

"Hmm..Does Daniel know you're going to check on your friend which is a guy?"

"Not exactly, but he's in the hospital and he has no one else in his family, I'm all he has left."

"Alright I guess you can go, and your little friend is between us okay?" I kissed his cheek.

"Okay thanks dad." I left out and go into Daniel's car. Ughh I have to drive 4hrs all by my self.

At the Hospital

"Hi I'm here to pick up Kevin Soles." I said to the lady at the front desk.

"Kevin Soles...hold on just a minute."

"Alright." I replied as she picked up a clipboard.

"He is located on the 3rd floor in room 103, he has just received some medication for his cancer-"

"Cancer?!? Wha-" I cut myself off and ran to the elevator pressing the up button multiple times. I couldn't believe he lied to me? Who lies about cancer when you only have one person in your life? The elevator finally opened and I hurried in pressing Fl3. It felt like 10 years in that elevator, the doors finally opened and I ran to the front desk.

"Room 103? I'm here to pick up Kevin Soles." I said quick in a hurry.

"Go down that hall way and it will be to your right." I followed the lady at the front desk directions and found room 103. I opened the door with out knocking. There he was in his black pants, but shirtless. And damn did he look good without his shirt. Wait what am I saying?

"Carly baby, I'm so glad ta see ya." He grabbed his crutches and walked over to me. He tried hugging me but I pushed him back.

"Don't touch me or call me baby." I said rolling my eyes and crossing my arms. He leaned his crutches on the bed and grabbed his t-shirt putting it on.

"Damn I can't thank ya for being there fo meh? My bad."

"No because I haven't done anything yet and you lied to me again...I should just go and leave you here all alone." I reached for the door pulling it open.

"No please Carly don't leave meh I-I I'm dying baby girl please I need ya." He grabbed my arm stopping me.

"Kevin I know your dying you have cancer and you didn't even tell me. What type of person who needs help does that?"

"I ain't want ya ta worry 'bout meh I wanted ya ta just help meh get back on my feet and I would be out ya way."

"Nobody is worried about you I'm just so nice that I came to pick you up and take you where ever you wanna go."

"Ya know I ain't got no where ta go man." He said getting his crutches together and walking towards me.

"What happened to your bitch? Hm? Oh she left your ass? Maybe nobody would leave you if you knew how to treat somebody!" I yelled at him.

"So ya saying if I treat ya right from na on you'll stay with me? Baby girl let me treat ya right I promise all get a job, I'll act right I won't lay a hand-" I cut him off as soon as I could.

"Kevin stop I'm pregnant." I said opening my coat showing him my baby bump. "I'm with someone who has a job and knows how to treat a lady. He already knows Kevin."

"Is dere a chance dat the baby is mine?" I couldn't believe he asked that question. I smacked him hard as hell.

"Kevin what the hell!? I had sex with you one fucking time with protection which was a mistake. There is no way in hell that I could be having your baby. Got me fucked up." I walked out the door and it closed without him following me. I saw the sadness is his posture, his head was down, his face was turning red, and a tear dropped. I opened the door and said, "Do you need a assistance getting out this damn door or are you staying here." He raised his head up and stared at me. I couldn't take it he was pulling me in too much. I walked towards him and laid his head in my shoulder soothing his head with my hand. I kind of was a bit harsh with my words, but he truly deserved to here the truth from me.

"Do you still love me?" He asked. Lifting hus head from my shoulder. I stared at him long and hard.

"Kevin lets just go." I shook my head holding the door open for him as he walked.
