"𝑳𝑰𝑨, 𝑰𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻 a new scar?" Remus Lupin asked his best friend as he leaned forward to touch the scar on her cheek, running his finger along the jagged scar and he saw Ophelia hiss in pain before she slapped his hand away. Remus then knew what happened, he always knew what happened, but he needed Ophelia to answer for herself.

"I tripped and fell down the stairs." Ophelia said, though the line seemed rehearsed. Remus sighed as he grabbed Ophelia and forced her into a hug. He could hear Ophelia sob and this made his eyes water. "I'm sorry Remus," She sobbed, sniffing rather loudly in his ear but Remus didn't move. This was his friend and even if she could puke on him right now, he'd still hug her. "He told me to say that." She sniffed again. "He got angry when I suggested we open Jeremy's room because I needed something from it."

Remus sighed as he let her go and wiped away the tears from her cheeks and he softly kissed her forehead. "You're here now Lia, you're safe now at Hogwarts. You won't see him until the summer."

"What if mum needs me home for Christmas?" Ophelia asked and Remus sighed. He liked Ophelia's mother, as she was kind, loving, caring and nothing like her abusive husband.

"She won't, she has your aunt." Remus told her sternly. Even if Daphne needed Ophelia home, he wouldn't let her go. He would lock her in the bathrooms if he must, he just hated seeing his friend so sad and hurt all the time because of her father.

Ophelia smiled at him and gave him a hug. "I suppose you're right." She shrugged. They both looked up when they heard feet pounding against the cemented ground and saw the rest of their group. Sirius beamed when he saw Ophelia and tried walking up to her, very determined, but James had tripped him and Sirius went flying to the floor. The rest of the group laughed hard at this, including Sirius.

"Has anyone done the Transfiguration homework?" Peter asked as he sat across Remus, who shook his head, already knowing what he wanted. "I've done it! I just want to check!"

"We all know you didn't do it Petes, even Filch does." James told the mouse like boy, who blushed a bright red and opened his mouth to come up with a comeback but Ophelia already said something.

"I'm done with mine." She said, trying to ignore her pounding heart and obvious burning cheeks. "You can borrow it."

Peter, still red with embarrassment, nodded. "T-thanks Lia." He said, clearing his throat awkwardly and James wiggled his eyebrows at him, while Sirius jabbed Ophelia in the ribs and when the girl groaned in pain, he gave her a grin.

"The movements of the wand are rather...." The voice of McGonagall drawled out and Ophelia sighed, feeling something poke her on the head. She had touched the spot and found a note in her hair, already knowing who it was, she turned to glare at James, who grinned at her and pushed his glasses up his nose. Ophelia shook her head but opened the note anyway.

You know Lia, I'm hungry and McGonagall isn't teaching us any useful food related spells.
J A M E S (the one who wears glasses and is hungry)

Ophelia rubbed her forehead, annoyed at the moment but she angrily scribbled her response, which went vaguely like : Peter always has food in his pockets, ask him. And when McGonagall turned around to grab her wand to show them the movements, she quickly charmed the note to fly back to James. He caught it with a clap and everyone turned to look at him, Ophelia mentally groaned.

"Is there something you want to add Mr Potter?" McGonagall asked, raising a dark brow at him and James put his hands on the desk, in a praying manner.

"Just wanted to say phenomenal work Professor, truly. We're lucky to be even sitting in this classroom, really lucky." James said with a straight face, nodding at each word he said. Remus raised a brow at Ophelia, who sighed and shook her head at him. "If I were Headmaster Professor, you'd be the only one here for you're far more experienced than everyone here, truly phenomenal."

McGonagall raised a brow at him but thankfully only shook her head at him and turned to her class, the ones who were listening to her. Ophelia felt something poke her on the head again and she resisted the urge to yell at James. She wasn't really paying attention to McGonagall, but she didn't want to get into trouble.

Asked him, said he ate everything. Help me Lia?
J A M E S (still the one who wear glasses and is still hungry)

Ophelia, again, angrily dipped her quill in ink, careful not to break it. She scribbled angrily, accidentally tearing the parchment and sent him a note that said : James, it's lunch after this, bother Remus. Oh look, Evans is staring at us you dimwit.

She heard James gasp behind her and she shook her head. Ophelia almost screamed this time round when another note landed in her hair.

Are we sending notes around? If so, hi Lourdes!
Sirius Black, mischief maker, part time learner

Ophelia glanced at Remus, who was scribbling something addressed to Peter. She sighed and dipped her quill in ink again.

Why aren't you listening to McGonagall? She'll have your head Sirius!

She charmed it again but this time to fly towards Sirius, and it unfortunately poked him in the eye. Sirius, being as dramatic as he is, cried wolf and McGonagall again stopped her lesson.

"Mr Black, is there a problem?" McGonagall asked, sounding tired. Ophelia felt like McGonagall had good reason to feel tired. She dealt with Sirius, James, Peter, Remus and herself everyday in her classroom and school House. Ophelia wasn't naturally a troublemaker, neither was Remus, but when they deemed the prank worthy enough, they took part.

"Nothing Professor McGonagall, just have a spider in my eye." He whined, dramatically rubbing his eye. "I can practically see all the spiders, does this mean I have spider powers now?"

McGonagall sighed when Ophelia and James snickered and her eyes flicked towards them, only Ophelia stopped laughing. McGonagall looked like she was about to say something but the bell had rung and Sirius jumped up.

"To Herbology!" He yelled, grabbing both Ophelia and Remus and literally dragged them towards the door. Ophelia had laughed at this, not bothering to tell him that Herbology was only tomorrow and it was lunch now.
