𝑶𝑷𝑯𝑬𝑳𝑰𝑨 𝑯𝑨𝑫 𝑩𝑬𝑬𝑵 sitting alone in the library, on the floor and surrounded by heaps and heaps of books. Remus and Lily had left her minutes ago, and her other three friends had just shook their heads at her and left her alone. (Books, they had thought.) She heard footseps head towards her and she didn't bother looking up from the Greek Mythology book she had been reading, thinking it was one of her friends. However, when the person spoke, she was mistaken and shocked.

"Hello, I'm Benjamin Crane and I couldn't help but notice that you're reading a Greek Mythology book. I personally am a fan." The boy spoke. He was extremely handsome, to say the least, with dark curls sitting atop his head and his eyes were gray, just like hers but his held more life, more warmth to them. Ophelia felt her eyes wander to his mouth, where it was painted into a grin.

"Ophelia Lourdes, and I bet I'm the biggest fan." She snorted when Benjamin chuckled, shaking his head and he sat next to her.

"Let me guess, you think Persephone knew what she was doing and actually loved Hades?" He asked, raising a brow at her and Ophelia pouted, for this was exactly what she thought. Benjamin chuckled once more. "Well you're in luck Ophelia, because I think the same."

Ophelia smiled at him. "Lia, my friends call me Lia for short." She then sighed. "But then you get Sirius and Marlene, who call me Lourdes but then you get Mary, who calls me Loa, just because my initials mixed up spells that."

Benjam laughed again. "I'll call you Persephone, something special." Ophelia smiled, thinking it was special indeed. She just met Benjamin, she knew nothing about him, except that he was in Ravenclaw for it was on his robes and that was about it.

"Well, I'll call you Hades then." Benjamin smiled at her and Ophelia found herself smiling back.

"I'd like that." He pulled out what seemed like a piece of parchment from his pockets, though it looked torn and battered and it screamed for death. "Take the first seed?" He asked, waving his wand and a pomegranate replaced the parchment. Ophelia giggled, shaking her head though she took one seed.

"Of course." She giggled again and Benjamin beamed at her and he extended his hand towards her.

"Friends Persephone?" He asked, raising a brow and Ophelia placed the seed on her backpack as she took his hand in hers, and she couldn't help but notice how warm his hands were, she almost didn't want to let go.

"I thought we were already friends Lord Hades." She shook his hand and unfortunately had to let go. Benjamin had chuckled before he ran a hand through his black curls and he opened his mouth to say something but someone had already spoke. And it was not Ophelia.

"Benny!" The whiny voice had said. "I've been looking everywhere for you." Ophelia looked up to the person, seeing it was a girl, who looked extremely beautiful beside her. She had lively dark brown hair, with startling blue eyes to go with it and her complexion was out of this world. Ophelia found herself envying her clear, pimple-less face.

"Sorry Maeve, I was with my friend." Benjamin had roughly replied and Ophelia saw the girl—now called Maeve—scrunch her face up before she shrugged and threw her hair behind her shoulder, revealing the Ravenclaw badge and Ophelia felt like an outsider between the two Ravenclaws who obviously knew each other well.

"I have seen her before, with those blood traitors Potter and Black, you wouldn't want to get mixed in with someone like her Benny. Stick with us purebloods. You don't know if she's a muggle or not." Ophelia had concluded that she absolutely hated Maeve.

"I'm a pureblood." Ophelia had growled at the Ravenclaw, who only shrugged. "And my friends are not blood traitors you skank."

Ophelia hit a nerve. "Now I remember clearly. You're the Lourdes kid, the one whose brother went insane and died. Bet insanity runs in the family, huh?"

"Don't talk about my brother as though you knew him." Ophelia growled and by now, she was sure Madam Pince would march over to them and forever ban them from her beloved, quiet and peaceful library. "My brother wasn't insane."

"Already showing signs of insanity." Maeve sickly said and Ophelia was tempted to gauge her eyes out. "Come on Benny, before the craziness rubs off on us." She sneered, already marching away, looking back to see if Benjamin was following or not. "Benny? Don't tell me you're sticking with that."

"Shut up Maeve, go snog Goyle, bet he'd love just to get in your pants, bet you wouldn't mind either." Benjamin had growled at her and Maeve looked as though she was about to say something, but she clamped her mouth shut and began crying. Ophelia saw thick mascara lines travel down her cheeks before Maeve marched out.

"I didn't think you'd be as evil as Hades." Ophelia chuckled lightly and Benjamin laughed at this, the incident with Maeve slowly slipping his mind.

"I prefer the term creative. And I'm sorry about Maeve, angry ex. Jealous type." Benjamin shook his head and something squeezed Ophelia's heart painfully, though she didn't know why.

"You dated Hera?" She asked, shaking her head and Benjamin sighed, nodding and this was like a punch in her face. "I know we met literally two seconds ago, but I didn't take you for that type."

Benjamin smirked at this. "And what type may that be Lady Persephone?"

"The one where the guy, which is you in this whole scenario, dates a girl, Maeve, only for her looks to make the others jealous." Ophelia concluded and she saw Benjamin shake with laughter.

"You're right, we met only now but my dear Persephone, there's so much you don't know about. I don't play with their hearts. I loved Maeve once but after she became that, I left her, knowing I can't let her stain me." He smiled at her. "How about we start on a new slate? No jealous ex, no Greek Mythology. Just us?" He asked. "How about this Hogsmeade weekend? A brand new slate? After all Persephone, you took a seed."

Ophelia laughed at this. "I can't refuse Lord Hades."

The laughing pair didn't notice Peter, who just entered to give Ophelia the message from Remus. He had stared at them and felt his heart break before he commanded his legs to move away and he ignored Sirius' comment about Ophelia and that git being a couple. They couldn't, she wouldn't. At this point, Peter didn't know what to believe.
