Ok to put it out there I have best friends named Ashley and Olivia so throughout future stories their names might pop up. And I'm African American so I will have African American characters and majority of darker skin mainly because we're not represented at all. So if you have a problem, simply do not read. I've seen Many African American writers here only have light skin black people as characters and they themselves are darker than that and that bothers me. So I write with characters I know some of my readers can link to.
