Victoria's P.O.V

  The ride to their place was silent. Not awkward silence, just peaceful silence. My mind kept replaying the words Olivia told me. Since when she became so wise? But I'm ready to fight. Gonna take time but hopefully I still have a little strength left in me. We passed alot of the big grand houses until we got into the little suburban area. The houses were beautiful just like my old one.

We came to a stop in front of a small white house with a tannish brown roof. It was beautiful, small and cozy. "We're home!"yelled Ashley.

She turned around towards me giving a goofy grin. It wasn't long before I was pulled out by my arm and practically dragged into the house. "We're home guys!"yelled Olivia.

I was confused. Didn't they live alone? "Who are you yelling to?"I asked.

"Do you really think us both would live in this house alone?"Olivia asked.

I scratched the back of my head clearly embarrassed. I heard four distinct laughter. In front of me stood a woman, light skin, blondish brown hair, and beautiful green eyes. Next to her was an equally gorgeous man sporting deep chocolate brown skin, Brown eyes, and was pretty muscular. Followed by male twins, sporting light brown skin, hazel eyes, and the cutest pair of dimples. I felt insecure at that moment and looked everywhere except them.

    "Hey girls, who is she?"asked the girl.

"Our bestfriend Victoria but she prefers Ver or Vicki. She staying with us from now on, but be nice she has had a rough life,"said Ashley, introducing me to them.

       "Well I'm Bethany, just Bethany. This is Devon, pointing to the dark skin man, and these two are Dominic and Demetrius, pointing towards the twins" smiled Bethany.

I looked confused between the twins. Everybody laughed at my reaction. "Dominic is the one with the tattoo on his neck, I have only on my right arm," Demetrius said with a teasing smile.

     Silence fell upon us before one of the twins spoke up. "You didn't bring any luggage?" Devon asked as he tried to look around me for them.

I stayed silent, feeling too embarrassed to tell them anything.

"Remember she had a rough life,"Olivia glared at them.

"Well..what happened?"asked Bethany, her eyes boring into mine for answers.

" I really don't want to talk about it," I begged.

      "Vee we are family. I think we need to know what's up before we let you in, maybe it's some drug dealer problem. And if it is then we like to live," said Demetrius, in all seriousness.

I sighed and looked over towards Ashley and Olivia. "Fine sit somewhere and I'll tell you the whole story."I finally gave up.

 Everyone gathered around in the living room and I was left with the seat in front of them. "So I'm married to Derrick Simmons,"I started.

   "Wait the Derrick Simmons, the multi-millionaire and successful business man Derrick Simmons?"gushed Bethany.

      I nodded. "Then what are you doing here?"asked the twins, clearly confused at my mere presence here.

"Shush let her finish!"yelled Ashley.

I gave her a grateful smile before continuing ,"well he has been abusive within our seven years of marriage. I've had three miscarriages, the first when I confronted him about his adulterous ways and he drunk at the time punched me on my stomach, I was 3 months. I should've left but pathetic of me I still loved the man and I didn't have anywhere else to go." I began, I felt their eyes boring into me, making me feel nervous.
