Loved Since Forever

The Show

When we step out of the elevator, I see many people walking around. They look very busy. Some guy comes up to Jimmy and says something to him. Then another guy comes and drags me towards him. Jimmy nods at me to follow him. I do so.

But before I do, I grasp that feeling. A feeling I've been waiting for, for many years. I'm looked up to this place for who knows how long. "This is fantastic!" I whisper to myself.

We get to a dressing room and the guy nods for me to go in. He then walks away.
"Uh, so is this mine?" I think to myself. I shrug and walk in.
I walk in, in awe. It's amazing. I mean, there has been better dressing rooms at the venues I've performed at but this was just so cool. There was a mini fridge, bowls of candy on the coffee table, and a TV, and more! I sit down on the red leather couch and I see a note from Jimmy...
"Hey, Ms. Love! It's so nice to finally meet you today! I'm such a big fan of your music, you have like no idea! Haha. I can't wait to get to know you. Also, I was wondering if you would like to get a bite to eat after filming? It'll be tons of fun! xD Well, ttyl!
Sincerely, Jimmy."
Woah, he wants to get to know me?! A bite to eat? How freaking awesome is that?! Omg, I'm freaking out.

A few minutes later, I see the tv switch to what seems to be the live stream of the show. They're filming and stuff but I can't help but pay more attention to the note Jimmy wrote. There are so many scenarios going through my head.
"What if he wants to make a song together?"
"What if he wants to date me?"
"What if he wants me to be the new member of the roots?"
What if he wants my autograph?"
So, so many scenarios!

"Well hey there Misty!" I literally jump at the sound of his voice.
"Hi." I say shyly.
"It's almost time for you to come on, you ready?" Jimmy asks.
"Yep!" I say. I take off my coat and look at myself in the mirror in the room. I do this and can't help but notice Jimmy staring at me.
"All ready?" He asks.
I nod my head and we walk out.

I am stupidly smiling right now! That was he best time of my life. I get out my phone as soon as I get to the dressing room. I call Becca.
"Hello?" She says.
"Becca, omg, I'm famous, like literally just now is sinking in!"
"Please stop screaming! But I'm so proud of you! I can't believe your my best friend! How was the show??!" She asks.
"It was all I ever imagined. He introduced me out and then asked me questions about my album. I then told him about the possibility of doing a movie and all that jazz. Then I-" she cuts me off.
"Movie? What movie? What?"
"I didn't tell you about that either? Jeez, I'm such a bad friend."
"What movie?!!"
"Well, my agents want me to be in a movie for more publicity!" I say to her.
I see Jimmy walk into the dressing room. I look at him and smile.
"That is so freaking amazing Misty!!!"
"Yes, I know," I say giggling, "I'll talk to you later, okay?"
"Mmmmm." She says. I hang up.
I put my phone in my purse and Jimmy speaks first.
"So you read that note right?"
I nod.
"Any thoughts on the question I asked?"
"Well of course, duh!!!" I say smiling.
He laughs and says, "Well what are we waiting for?!"
He walks out and I follow.
