Antonia walked out of her company thinking about the present,She should buy for her girls."It was almost 7:55pm, What would she buy for her little girls?". She was unlocking her car, When a loud cry interrupted her thoughts.It sounded like a baby.As she drew closer, she saw a bloody baby wrapped in rags. She looked closely at the baby, and noticed it was a girl.And in fact a beautiful one too, The child smiled at her and she was amazed, So she carried the baby to her car and put neat blankets on her. She drove home faster thinking about what she would do about the baby.
In Antonia's house, Lisate, Prudy, and sage were not willing to sleep and up waiting for their mother.
"Aren't you girls going to sleep?",their nanny; Flora, asked.
" No, we are waiting for mummy", sage said.
The door bell rings and all the girls run to meet their mother.
"Mummy", they all shout.
" Please be patient you might hurt her ", Antonia managed to say. " Mommy who is this?", Sage asked with a tinge of jealousy in her tone. "I will leave you to guess", Antonia said playfully.
" I know, our new sister", Prudy answers. "Is that true mum?", Lisate enquired, Antonia nods.
" What is her name?", Sage asked. Antonia thought hard, "Ciara", she finally said.
Flora appeared in the doorway and Antonia told the girls to go grab some sleep, and she told Flora to bring her food to her room. She also bathed the baby and came to sit with Antonia for a while. Silence ensued between for a moment till Flora broke it.
" Miss,is that child really yours?", she asked.
"No, I found her abandoned on the streets, she touched my heart and I have decided to adopt her but Flora please neither her, nor the kids should know anything about this okay?".
" You have my word madam, I will, only If it depends on their lives".
