"Good morning boss, how was your night?
Hope you had a wonderful night rest ?

Don't say anything, with the smile  on your face, I can tell that Mr J did stretch you all through the night. Yoga is definitely good for the body these days.
You should let your body do the yoga",
She said.

"Shut up and take this document inside, you naughty creature. Don't I deserve the full body massage while he is on break?"

I replied in the naughtiest manner possible.

"Yes you do ma. And I'm definitely happy for you. I envy you both and every woman deserves a caring and loving man like Mr J"

And that was how I smiled like a fool, while listening to my assistant hail me and my husband whom she's screwing with every opportunity she's got lest we forget.

I envy the joy in her face anytime I hear her describe how perfect my marriage is, but in the real sense, she is actually enjoying this marriage than the bride. 
She is a side chick who's good at her job.
She serves me at work and also serves my husband at home.

She is so  perfect when it comes to multitasking for real, she is definitely doing a good job or isn't she?

My marriage to James has been one of the best thing to ever happen to me as it  brought a lot of opportunities and while James isn't the brightest in his family, I was the shinning light and hope of mine.
I came from the bottom and worked my way to the top and thanks to the influence of the Johnson family, everybody gets to recognize the greatness in you.
James was born into wealth and affluence but I married into wealth and affluence, all thanks to James.
His family wasn't very supportive of our marriage at first but he made sure he fought for me and finally, I was accepted and here I am, the girl who was raised in the street of Lagos now controlling the world from her office in Banana Island.
James wasn't always a cheat, he was loyal, dedicated and loving husband but the scary thing about him is the fact that he never changed towards me since his affairs began, he is still as loving and caring as ever and is  never bothered.
Our bed is always perfectly set every night like no one came in.
I only get  to know what's going on through the perfect camera I installed in our bedroom few weeks ago.

Do not even ask me why I installed it in the first place, cause you can agree with me already that I made the right move. "The end truly justified the means"

Just as I was lost in thought while minding my business by building the future of my business in my office, I got a message delivered by a courier which was addressed to me as explained by Kate

"Good day ma'am, a courier just sent this and it's addressed to you from Dr Chuks"
She said.

"Ok Kate, bring it or have you opened it already,"
I asked

"No ma'am, it looks like it's personally addressed to you and not the agency"
She responded.

"Ok then."
I replied hastily

I collected it from her and was about to read when I noticed that kate was still  standing there looking at me.

"You can go back to your post Kate, you said it's personal right?"
I asked.

"Ok ma'am, hope you haven't forgotten  about your meeting with Elevation Magazine in an hour?"
She quizzed.

"No I haven't, just go kate"
I responded hurriedly.

I and Kate have always been more than A boss and A worker, we are practically besties cause I share everything with her.
it's almost normal cause I hardly make new friends neither  do I get stuck with friends for long.

So it wasn't surprising to see her wait and carefully watch me open the envelope. She definitely had the idea of what was inside already since she knows about my plans of trying to get pregnant as soon as possible.
I do tell her everything. But today, I wasn't just interested in sharing my news with her today and I guess you know why already.

She finally left and after she silently closed the door, I quickly opened the envelope to see what Dr Chuks the family doctor has got for me today.
And suddenly my aura changed cause that day turned out to be a good day.
I have just received a good news from my doctor. I am finally pregnant after four years of marriage.
That moment was supposed to be the best since I've been craving it.
And now, I don't know what  to feel, sadness or happiness?
All I can say is that I felt numb and it's definitely not nice especially for my baby.

I was so still excited to share the news to my James so I called Kate and ask her to cancel all my appointments for the day cause I can't wait to go celebrate with my husband at home.

I left the office at about 4pm that day and I got to home by 6pm but you won't believe what I saw with my eyes on getting home.

My body couldn't handle the shock.
