"(Y/N)? Are you home?" I heard Jungkook call out from the doorway.

"Mhm" I replied from our bedroom. 

His footsteps echoed in the silent house, surrounded by the rain hitting against our home, as he made his way to me.

"You hungry? I bought us dinner" He said with a bright smile.

"Yea, thanks babe" I weakly smiled at him, and he looks at me with concern.

"You don't seem okay. Was it about the lead with Taehyung?"

I nodded as he sighed. He sat next to me on the bed and I immediately leaned my head on his shoulder.

"So, what did the police find out?"

"They found five suspects, however one of them was just.. unsettling I guess"

"Do you know them?"

I looked at Jungkook with a serious face and sighed.

"One of them was Jin"

If he were drinking water, he would've choked on it. He looked at me with disbelief, and I slowly nodded.

"Jin, like our neighbor Jin right?"

"Yes Jungkook, our Jin"

"There's no way, he would be the last person I would suspect"

"Me too, it was a shock for me too. The officers offered to let me help with the investigation since I was so into it, I guess"

"Will I be allowed to go with too?"

"I'm not sure.."

"Please ask. I want to know for myself if Jin did kill Taehyung"

I nodded as we just sat there, the rain filling the silence of the room. I felt him reach his hand over to mine and intertwined our fingers together.

"There's no way it's Jin. I really doubt it's him"

"Yea, I doubt it's him as well. Jin isn't the type of person to-"

Before I could finish my sentence, I was cut off by a bright flash from our window. Jungkook immediately stood up and ran to the window. I eventually went to the window as well and looked out. It was dark and it was impossible to see anything. Jungkook took his phone and started heading towards the door.

"Where are you going?"

"Checking to see what the hell that was"

"Jungkook no, stay inside. It's raining, and it might just be thunder or something"

"That's not thunder (Y/N), that was a camera flash. I worked with cameras too much to recognize that bright flash"

I felt an unsettling feeling in my stomach. As Jungkook looked outside to try and find a trace of a person, I was reminded of what the officer said to me a while ago.

"Some stalker, and murder cases. Be safe Ms. (L/N), they seem to be going after men and women your age"

"Jungkook we need to call the cops"

"The cops?"

"Yes, the officer from earlier told me about their most rising case at the moment. It involved stalking. If that person did take a picture of us, they could be the suspect of the case they are trying to catch for so long"

Jungkook nodded and immediately called 911 with no hesitation.

"Thanks to the rain, we were able to see that there were footprints on the ground" An officer, who was sat across from us, informed us with their investigation.

"The footprints matched the footprints of the suspect we are trying to catch, so I believe you two are another couple they are after"

"Another couple?" I asked curiously.

"Mhm. This person, or it possibly could be multiple people, are after young couples like you. They start by taking pictures of the couple, and eventually they start to kill one person from the relationship. Either the boy or the girl"

Jungkook's hands squeezed mine, and I saw his lips form into a thin line.

"I suggest you two stick together or have a group of people with you just in case. We don't want our death rate to increase" The officer said standing up.

"Thank you officer" I said, also standing up along wit Jungkook.

"Officer Choi, we found this a few feet from the area" Another officer said, giving an item to the cop who was talking to us.

"Well, would you look at that. They dropped a picture"

The officer showed us the picture he was holding. It was a polaroid picture, and in the frame was Jungkook and I sitting next to each other while having our conversation.

"We'll be taking this for evidence. Be safe" The officer told us one more time.

We thanked them once more and led them to the door.

"We'll be fine. Don't worry, this psychopath won't get to us" Jungkook reassured me, giving me a warm hug.

"I hope so.." I said, hugging him back.
