I was home alone for the day, since Jungkook was off to work in Jin's bakery. I didn't have any clients for my job either, so I was just lazily laying down on the bed going through my feed.

"I'm hungry.." I said to myself, as I saw a video about food.

Listening to my stomach, I went downstairs to the kitchen to get something to eat. I placed my phone on the counter as I searched through the cabinets for a bite to eat.

As I finally found a snack to munch on, my phone started to ring. I sighed, disappointed that I couldn't eat my snack right away and checked the caller ID.

"Oh, it's Taehyung's mom?" I said, a bit shocked.

"Hello?" I greeted after answering the phone.

"Hey dear, how are you doing?" Taehyung's mom's sweet voice said from the other side of the phone.

"I'm doing great, how about you?"

"I'm fine as well, thank you. Are you busy today?"

"Uhm, not really. Is there something wrong?"

"No there's nothing wrong," she began, "The police called us today"

"Oh? Why'd they call"

"They said they may have found a lead towards Taehyung's accident"

"Really?!" I said, "Finally, they found a lead"

"I figured you would want to come hear the news with us dear"

"I'll be on my way"

After giving Jungkook a quick text to where I was heading, I hopped onto my car and set my destination to the Kim residence.

"Good day Mr. and Mrs. Kim, hello Ms. (L/N)" The officer greeted as he stepped foot onto Taehyung's house.

"Please tell us about your lead officer" Mr. Kim said, hugging Mrs. Kim.

"First, I would like to apologize for how long it took us to find a lead. We had so many other cases going on, we got a bit overwhelmed"

"That's alright officer, what were the other cases about may I ask?" I asked.

"Some stalker, and murder cases. Be safe Ms. (L/N), they seem to be going after men and women your age"

I nodded, as the officer took some papers out.

"Alright, the lead. As you know, it was a hit and run. The car was a white Mercedes, and from what our investigator have observed from the footage and the dents on the car, the accident was done on purpose"

"On purpose?" I said with shock.

"That's right. Whoever the suspect was, they purposely waited for Taehyung to come and, with right timing, hit his side of the car and ran before witnesses could come"

"Did you recognize who the person from the footage?"

"Unfortunately no, they wore all black to prevent the cameras from identifying them. They are smart as well, they took their license plate off to make it harder for us to know who owned the car"

I sighed, and saw Mr. and Mrs. Kim looking down at the ground with no hope.

"Not to worry, aside from going to the car dealerships to ask who purchased a white Mercedes and have loads of people, we found some finger prints around that car that narrowed the possible suspects to five people"

The officer pulled up pictures of the five people for us to look at. I looked at the photos he gave to us and my eyes widened at one picture.

"Jin?"

"You know him Ms. (L/N)?"

"Yes I do, but there's no way he.." I said, trailing off.

"We will do more investigations, don't worry Ms. (L/N). We will find the person who killed Kim Taehyung"

"Thank you officer" I said, sighing.

I felt Mrs. Kim hug me and I smiled at her, hugging her back. I looked back at the pictures and names the officer placed down.

Kim Seokjin.

"Please, don't let it be you Jin" I muttered.
