Agent Six (A Newt Love Story) (TMR-TDC)

Chapter 2

"Hey, Chuck." Minho said to him as he ran past. "New Greenie, huh?"

"How's it feel to be promoted?, Ben asks.

"Feels great, Ben." Chuck replied.

Just as the doors closed a girl with a black hood over her face walked over to Chuck.

"Chuck have you seen Newt?" The girl asked in a Scottish accent.

"Yeah. I think he's over by the gardens." Chuck replies.

The girl just gave a small nod and walked away.

"Hi!" Thomas tried to say but the girl simply ignored him and walked away.

"Who was that? She completely ignored me." Thomas asked looking back at her.

"That, my friend was Isabelle. She's Newt's girl." Chuck said with a smile on his face.

"Don't piss her off other wise you deal with her weapons." Chuck said turned to a now scared Thomas.

"Weapons?" Thomas asked in pure fright.

"Yep. Knives, daggers, a sword, guns. She has it all, man." Chuck said looking happy.

"Oh. Great...." Thomas murmured looking as if he peed his pants at the  thought.

"I thought no one was allowed to leave." Thomas stated.

"I said we're not allowed to leave. They're different, they're runners. They know more about the maze than anyone. Especially Isabelle." Chuck said.

"W-Wait, what?" Thomas asked.

"What?" Chuck repeated.

"What? You just said 'maze.'" Thomas said with confusion in his voice.

"What? I-I did?" Chuck shuddered nervously.

"Yeah." Thomas said answering Chuck's question.

The two boys turn to look in the Maze, wondering what was out there.

"Where you going? What are you doing?" Chuck asked Thomas as he tried to enter the Maze.

"I'm just going to take a look." Thomas said walking forward.

"I told you, you can't. No one leaves, especially not now. It's not safe." Chuck said.

"Okay, all right. I'm not gonna run." Thomas told Chuck.

Thomas steps forward twords the Maze only to be stopped by Gally pushing him to the ground.

"We got to stop meeting like this, Greenie." Gally said after he pushed Thomas.

"Get off me." Thomas said getting up.

"All right, calm, calm, calm calm." Gally said as he tried to calm Thomas down but it didn't work and soon other Gladers came to watch.

Isabelle had Cassidy in one arm and Newt's hand in the other as they walked twords the scene.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?" Thomas asked getting pissed.

"Just calm down, all right?" Newt said as he, Isabelle and Cassidy arrived on the scene.

"No, okay?" Thomas yelled at Newt.

Isabelle put her daughter on the ground and got out one of her daggers saying " What's your problem?"

"Me. What's your guys problem?" Thomas yelled at Isabelle.

She was about to stab him but Newt stopped her by grabbing her by the arms and whispering in her ear.

"Easy, love. We don't want to start a problem in front of Cassidy now do we?" Newt said as he began to put light kisses on her neck.
