After asking people around them and hastily searching, Levi sighed in defeat.

Not even trying to call her had worked, and both of them were starting to worry more and more with each passing minute. Groaning internally, he turned to Ash.

“I blame you.”

“Me?! What’d I do!”

“You’re the one who wanted to get food and started the argument!”

“You’re the one who keeps trying to put the moves on her!” Levi scoffed, crossing his arms.

“How is that relevant to the situation? What if she’s hurt or-” He stopped, his eyes going wide. She was right across the street sitting on a bench with her face in her hands.

“-Right over there…” Ash tilted his head, following Levi’s gaze to find her. Not wasting a second longer they both bolted across the street and stopped in front of her, only to be met with an ashamed look.

“I’m so sorry, guys!” Levi shook his head, sitting down next to her.

“It’s alright, dear...But what happened?” Billie blushed, giving him a sheepish smile as she twiddled her thumbs.

“I ran into the waiter from last night so i decided to apologize for the lace thing… And I got his number and the bartender’s and took a picture with them by the tower since they’re pretty cool.. I was only gone a minute and when I went back to where you guys were you were gone and...I got lost looking for you.” Ash hugged her tightly.

“I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!!!” Ash dramatically collapsed beside her on the bench. She giggled at her friend. She quickly wrapped an arm around each of them, pulling them into a quick hug.

“Thanks you guys.” Ash squirmed a bit in her grasp.

“It’s no big deal. But douchefuck over here should have been paying better attention.” Levi scoffed, sticking his tongue out at Ash.

“You’re her best friend, it’s your job to look out for her.”

“I was busy dealing with you!” Ash glared at him. Billie giggled.

“You guys sound like a married couple. Am I intruding~?” Ash opened his mouth to say something but thought better of it.

“Whatever. I’m starving. Can we go eat?” Ash stood up and looked around where they were. “Any suggestions from the tour guide?”

“There’s a really cheap food truck just over there. Anyone got an issue with hotdogs?” Billie pleadingly looked at Ash, her face almost green.

“Yeah...She can’t eat those.” Levi gave Billie a confused look. She sighed, looking down.

“I uh… have a couple of bad memories with ‘em… and I’m allergic to peaches.” She smiled nervously. Ash tapped his foot against the pavement in annoyance, scrunching up his nose.

“I’m going to die of starvation if you don’t hurry up” Billie laughed. She scanned the line of shops along the street.

“What about that cafe?” She pointed and they turned to look.         “Alright! I haven’t been there before.”
