Matt lifted their plates, blushing when he glanced at Billie. She felt her face get warm but stood up. Quickly allowing Levi to pay and giving Matt some well wishes with the bartender, she lead Levi to her hotel and sat him in the lobby.

“Just stay here. I’ll be right back.” She walked towards the elevator and glanced over her shoulder to see him following. “What are you doing?” She turned to face him.

“I still want to see the lace, love.” He smirked and walked past her pressing the up button on the elevator.

“So you can look at my skirt, perv.” She crossed her arms and glared at him.

“Hey, I’m not the one who owns lacey underwear.”
“You probably sneak into girls houses and steal it from their drawers.” The doors slid open and he stepped away, gesturing for her to get in. She rolled her eyes and stepped inside. She pressed the button for her floor and leaned against the wall.
“They’re not as pretty as you’d hope, just a warning.” She studied the wall next to her.

“What’s so interesting about that wall?”

“I-It just is… Especially since I’m an awkward little shit that made this evening awkward….So..Sorry.” She felt herself shying away from him, her cheeks flaring in shame and embarrassment. ‘God, I’m so fucking freaking. Nice job me.’ He glanced at her and sighed.

“It wasn’t that bad. Don’t apologize.”
“Sorry.” He rolled his eyes and the doors opened. She stepped out and started walking down the hall, avoiding his gaze. She stopped in front of one of the doors and slipped her key card into the slot. The light turned green and she pushed the door open. She quickly ran to the bed and threw the garments into a drawer, signalling towards his ipod. “There ya go.”

He picked it up up and slid the device into his back pocket,

“Thank you. I guess I’ll be going now..” An awkward silence ensued. She took a deep breath, looking up at him.
“If you wouldn’t mind...could you tell me some nice places to visit? I am a tourist…”

“Oh, well it might be easier if I just show you. It’ll be like a tour.” She looked at him wide eyed, a smile slowly spreading across her face.
“Really?! Awesome!” She stood up and walked towards him.

“Uhm..yeah no problem. I’ll give you a call tomorrow.” He turned and slipped out the door before she could say anything. Though she could've sworn she saw his cheeks and ears dusted pink. Chuckling, she quickly added his number to her contacts and collapsed on the bed.

Meanwhile on the other side of the door, Levi shook his head, trying to clear it. He walked back to the elevator but hesitated to press the button. He looked back down towards the hotel room he’d just left. He had an urge to walk back to the room but pushed the button on the elevator instead. The doors open and he stepped on. His heart was pounding in his chest and his palms were sweaty. He leaned against the closed doors and tried to calm down. He felt nervous even though he had left. The elevator dinged and the doors slid open causing him to stumble backwards.

“Hey! You shouldn’t lean on doors that are inevitably going to open, dude.” He looked back, dusting himself off and holding out his hand the short, dark complected male he had knocked over.
“I’m sorry..uh..”
“Ash; and next time just use your head, dude. Elevators do open.” Levi nodded, stepping aside to let the black haired man through, only to hear him mutter under his breath.
“Wait till I tell Billie about this guy; she’ll probably laugh her ass off.” Levi stared as the man got on the elevator.

‘She has a boyfriend? No...no she would’ve told me….But I guess she had no reason to tell me.’ He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous habit of his. He shoved his hands in his coat pockets and walked outside. He hailed a cab and got in. He pulled his phone out and clicked add contact, quickly typing in the name Billie.
