chapter 16.

hopefully, y'all didn't forget about me. before we began let me say i hate feeling like i neglect y'all, because this is where i really feel like i could be myself. writers block, plus other things in my life took my focus off this for a minute. but the show back on the road. this chapter was kind of lame to me but i hope y'all like it.

Genisā.

"Welp, Miss. Browning, congratulations! You are expecting." Dr. Olivia gave Genisā a warm smile who felt like she just died and came back to life.

Kaila was with her and she squealed like that was her first time to find out, when she was right there by Gen the whole time while she peed on a test. Gen thinking they were just flukey tests wanted to get a second opinion from her OBGYN.

Dr. Olivia insisted if she wanted to do an ultrasound they could. So there they heard it first, the baby's heartbeat. She kept pressing against it and actually almost brought Genisā to tears.

She really was pregnant and as much as she tried to sleep it off the past couple days, act like she hasn't been feeling sickly after she found out. "Wow, I'm actually speechless." She finally spoke looking at the screen.

"Are you ready to tell the father?" She asked her and Gen rolled her eyes at that part, she was going to definitely tell his ass after she found him and beat the hell out of him.

"How about the grandmother?" Kai asked on the side of Gen, and Gen shot her eyes up quickly and shook her head. She was waiting on the perfect moment to spill the beans to her family but with Saint being away and not knowing where the person that so badly wanted them all dead was, she know they was gone try to lock Gen up to send her away for safety precautions.

"Wait a second there.." Dr. Olivia mumbled squinting at the screen where the fetus was but something had to catch her eye.

Genisā heart began to damn near leap, "What is it?" She asked and got nervous.

"Seems like I didn't see that other one there, and you see that? Once I bring this here you can hear both of their heartbeats, looks like you got blessed with twins honey!" She smiled and Genisā's jaw dropped.

"Oh my fucking gosh!" Kai exclaimed, "Londyn need to know this bitch twins?! I'm about to go out there." She said excusing herself quickly and Genisā's mouth still gaped open.

'Twins?! Fucking twins?!' Her thoughts started to go insane in her head. She knew twins ran in the family, but damn she wish it could've skipped her. She damn near wanted to punch the shit out of herself.

This was unexpected and way more what she thought she was coming to find out, "Well, I'm going to be your Doctor for this whole entire experience. I know you said you just started showing signs of sickness, but I'm going to get your prenatal vitamins and set you on your way. I'm happy for you, love! This is a blessing from God himself and I know you're going to make a wonderful mother." She smiled at Gen after removing the stick from her stomach and wiping the gel from off of her skin.

Gen sat in shock and unfortunately in her case, she was more overwhelmed because Saint wasn't here for this shit.
