Jungkook's POV
I accompany Sana to her apartment unit now. I didn't know why I agree to stay here tonight, but all I know is she looks really scared of the thunder and lightning. I remember Taehyung said she lives alone, so no one is going to accompany her and comfort her.
I am now sitting here at the single couch in the living room while Sana is curling up her self on the big couch while staring at the floor. I was frozen, there's an awkward silence in the room, and all I can hear now in the heavy rain outside. Lightning flashed through the window again and then another thunder followed. I saw Sana covered her head on her knees and scream out under. I move sitting beside her. I didn't know how to comfort her.
I called her name but she is not answering. "Sana-ssi.." I called her again and tapped her shoulder. She moves her head up and looks at me. Her face is so red. She is now crying.
"Hey.. Don't cry. It's okay, Sana-ssi. Just breathe in and out. The thunder will be gone sooner." I said while holding her shoulders but I think it won't take effect.
Another thunder rumbled again and little did I know I am now hugging Sana. She is now crying out loud over my chest. I don't know why she's breaking down but I have a feeling I need to comfort her.
"Sshh.. Sshh.. I'm here. I won't leave you." I said while caressing her hair. She's still crying. I'm thinking of how to comfort her then I remember I saw how Taehyung used to comfort his younger sister who was also afraid of thunder when we were still young. He used to sing her a song to distract her mind from hearing the thunder. And I hope it will also comfort Sana. I took a deep sigh and then I start singing. Although she was still crying but I didn't mind, I continue singing hoping she will calm down anytime soon.
After a few minutes, I notice she stops from crying but she's still sobbing quietly. I still caress her hair while humming a song.
I woke up and lift my head, I didn't notice I fell asleep. I looked down and saw Sana is still sleeping on my lap. I took a sigh of relief when she calmed down earlier and fell asleep. I glance at the window and the rain has finally stopped. I look back again to Sana, I stroke her hair away from her face, she's still peacefully sleeping as if she didn't break down earlier. I wonder why is she crying like that.
"You're too old to get scared of thunder," I whispered and chuckled.
I stop stroking her hair when I feel Sana move her body on the side facing me and to my surprise, she grabs my hand and hugs it. I was frozen by what she just did. I can't feel my breath anymore. All I did was to gulp my saliva multiple times. My heart is now racing rapidly. 'Why are you doing this to me Sana?'
Then I suddenly heard a knock on the door. I slowly remove my hand from Sana's embrace and slowly lift her head and put on the pillow before I stood up. I walk on the door and open it. It was the guy at the clinic and coffee shop. It's Minhyun. His eyes widen when he saw me open the door.
