When it started

Jennie's POV-

It has been around 300 years since I went out on Earth. I  was the princess of the Moka kingdom where vampires were given different powers when they reached the age of 1000. As for me, I was given the power of dominance.

The power of dominance was very rare as it was only  given to the heir of the Moka kingdom. Then the heir had to find their soulmates in order to takeover the kingdom and rule it stably. 

But I couldn't find him and  I was tired of waiting for my soulmate and had no hope remaining. My days in the castle were filled with nothing but hate for myself. 

 Everyday was the same  at castle , I hunted for food outside the castle but never tried to go to the Earth. That place always made me uneasy and  bringing back the flashbacks of what happened in the past. 

One day when I was out hunting, I found myself getting pulled towards the Earth. It was very strange  and then I remembered what Jeremy, My elder brother, told me  "whenever your  soulmate will appear you will feel a force pulling you towards his world". 

Because of the excitement of finally finding my soulmate after all these years, I decided to overcome my fear and went on the Earth. everything was very different than the last time I was here. Tall buildings, people with different clothes and mobile phones in almost everyone's hand.

I immediately followed a very delicious smell which led me to a cafe. Although I feed on blood, I also enjoy the delicious food in the human world.

Once I entered, I turned my head to see a girl sitting alone at the corner of the cafe  so I approached her and ask whether I could join her to which she agreed.

By talking to her I came to know that her name was Irene. She was very sweet but there was a small hint of pain in her eyes. I didn't want to be creepy so I left after I had my coffee. We became good friends just in our first meeting.

I found an apartment to stay nearby and decided to start searching for my soulmate. Every morning I would go to the cafe and talked with Irene as she was my only friend here. One day my curiosity got the best of me and I asked her why she is always alone.

Suddenly tears came up in her eyes and she looked away. I immediately apologized for being inconsiderate but then she said, "I lost everyone in a car crash last year." and started sobbing.

I didn't know how to comprehend the situation so I took her out of the cafe and offered to walk her home but she didn't say a word therefore I took her with me at my apartment and let her collect herself. 

After about an hour she asked me whether I stay alone, I told her that I was from another city and was here to find work. On listening to me she became excited and asked me to work with her. 

I didn't know much about this world so I kept quiet. Then she stood up and made a phone call saying that she wanted to appoint a person for styling her.

I was shocked. Then it hit me that she was a celebrity, I immediately searched up her name and found out she was one of the biggest celebrities in the U.S.A. 

*After 4 months*

 It has been so long,  Work with Irene was amazing, we are like best friends now and  we have  a lot of fun together. I even shifted with her.  The only thing eating me up is that I still can't find my soulmate..... then suddenly...

  One day I started hearing heartbeats, they were very faint but it was like a soothing melody for my ears. I immediately knew who it was.....
