I Already wasted a lot on time on Earth and now was the time to go for the real motive for which I came here. I told Irene that I had to go back to my hometown and moved out from her house and started tracking the heartbeat.
I tracked it for almost 12 hours and still it was very faint. I started wondering if this was a trick. I knew something was wrong. Although I could hear the heartbeat, I could not feel his presence. There was something definitely wrong.
I was not sure what to do and hence followed where the sound of his heart took me. After 4 more hours I realized this was edge of serpent's kingdom. Why was my soulmate here? Is he a serpent? How is this possible? I could not get any of it.
It is logically impossible for my soulmate to be of any other species than my own. No one in the Moka kingdom would allow a ruler from another species let alone a serpent. I decided to still go and see who my soulmate was.
Entering the Serpent's Kingdom was not an easy task at all, I reached out for to my only friend from the Moka kingdom, Oliver. He was the only one I could trust with this issue. He immediately teleported and stood beside me.

I told him the situation and he didn't even bulge. He agreed to accompany me and so we changed our forms and started the adventure. Once we reached the gates, the guards asked for our signs. Both me and Oliver looked at each other and then explained them that I was the future ruler of the Moka kingdom and my soulmate is probably in the Serpent's kingdom right now.
The guards made entries for us and the gates opened. Inside was a large hill on top of which was the palace surrounded by other normal houses. I saw people glaring at us as we passed through the streets to reach the palace.
When we reached the palace, instead of being welcomed, we were surrounded by soldiers with guns. I didn't know why this was happening but I knew something was wrong and that now was not the right time to fight.
I looked at Oliver who was ready to fight and shook my head to say no. He immediately relaxed but never lost his attention. The guards caught us and took us inside the palace where we were presented to the king of the Serpent kingdom.
Without even turning he knew I was there and said "here you are.... at last!" I found his voice familiar but could not understand who he was. He ordered the guards to let us free and the guards immediately opened our cuffs.
I told him about why I came to earth and how my soulmate's heartbeat led me to the serpent's kingdom. He suddenly stood up and turned around.
His bright green eyes met mine and I felt a chill run down my spine. I was the one with the power of dominance and still he was the one who was dominating me. He then told us that he will give me a time of one month. If I find my soulmate in that one month, he will let me take him with me and if not, I shall never return to the serpent's kingdom ever.
I agreed to his offer and then I suddenly realized, the heartbeat was not audible now, no matter how much I tried, I couldn't hear it. I knew he was here for sure but the silence from not hearing his heartbeat made me feel uneasy.
We left the palace and found ourselves a place to stay. It was a small house behind the palace. Oliver asked me to rest for the day and start finding my soulmate tomorrow. As much as I wanted to get to him, my body gave up on me and so I decided to rest for the day.
The next morning I woke in a strange place, this was not the house from last night, I searched for Oliver but could not find him.....
