She lays on her bed
Thinking of what the other girls said
She tries to silence the relentless voices in her head
And one by one each tear is shed
She curses all the lies she was fed
She wishes she had never made that first cut that bled
She was hanging on by one last thread
It snaped so quick that all her courage fled
She wished herself to just drop dead
It was dangerous waters that she tread
And with one final move it was her wrist that went blood red
And when they found her that next day it was to late she was already dead
