Laura's POV:
I woke up at the sound of my alarm clock. I got up, went to the bathroom and took a shower. I blow dried my hair (once I was done of course) and wore my clothes. A blue long sleeved shirt with black jeans.
It's been 6 months since I moved to New York and I hate it. I miss Raini, Calum and Ross.
There my best friends. I really wanted to spend New Years Eve and New Years with them. It's going to be the first time in 4 years that we won't spend it together. I wish I can move back to California. The worst part is I never told Ross how I felt about him. I love him and he will never know because 1 if I told him he would probably say he doesn't like me back and 2 long distance relationships don't always work (if he did like me)
I did tell my best friends on text that I'd be seeing the New Years Eve show in Time Square which is exciting. I just wish they can be there...
Ross' POV:
I can't believe in 2 days it's going to be 2015. I'm celebrating it with my best friends Calum and Raini but it won't be the same without Laura. The sad thing is I wanted her to know before she left that I love her; I wish she could move back.
I know she wants to celebrate with us as well. Wait, I have an idea.
-10 minutes later-
My doorbell rang so I opened it and saw Raini and Calum. I called them to come over so we can talk about my idea.
"Hey guys" I say
"Hey Ross" they both said
They came in and sat on the couch
"So why did you want us to come at 8:23 am" Calum said looking at his watch
"I have an idea involving New Years Eve" I say
-5 minutes later-
"...She'll be so happy and we can all have fun together" I say
"I'm in" Raini says
"So am I" Calum says
"Let's do it" I say
I ran to my parents and discussed the plan to them. Since they are amazing parents they let me. Raini and Calum called there parents and told them my plan.
"So.." I say hoping their parents said yes
"Let's do this" they both say
"YES"
We did researches, we bought tickets to New York and we were all set
"Okay, so let's pack our bags, we leave for the airport in an hour and a half" I say
"Okay we'll be back" they say
I can't wait to surprise Laura.. Oh sorry I didn't tell you the plan. We're going to see Laura in New York but you probably already figured that out.
After 30 minutes, I saw Raini and Calum come to my house with a suitcase each. I took my already prepared suit case and called Rydel.
"DELLY" I scream
"WHAT?" She screamed coming down the stairs
"Drive me, Raini and Calum to the airport. I'll explain in the car why" I say
"Mom told me the plan, I'll drive you guys"
We all went in the car. When we arrived, we said goodbye to Rydel
"You guys have fun" she said and drove off
We went in the airport and did everything we needed to do.
We have 10 minutes until we start boarding, so we went in a store to buy some things for the flight. Raini bought some magazines while Calum bought a neck pillow and I bought some snacks.
We went in the plane and sat in our seats. Since we bought last minute plane tickets, they weren't the most comfortable seats and it was three by three seats. At least we were sitting all together. The flight started to take off, Laura here we come..
~5 hours later~
We were in hotel room trying to find a way to make my plan even more special.
"ROSS!" Raini said excitedly
"I found a way to make your plan more special. I already called the people and convinced them so you can do it"
I looked at the computer and smiled. I'm ready to make this memorable!
-the next day-
It's 11:20 pm, so Laura (obviously) should already be there. She texted me saying she's in the front row. I'm hoping this is going to turn out great.
I was back stage fixing my tie. Calum was making sure my hair was perfect while Raini already had her phone out to record this. Calum then took his camera out.
"You can go out now" a man said to me
I was nervous but hopefully it will turn out great like I said before. I went on the stage and took the microphone. Millions of people watching me made me more nervous. I saw Laura, she was gorgeous.Here goes nothing
Laura's POV:
I was really enjoying the show but I still really wanted my friends to be here. Then I saw Ross come on stage what was he doing here.
"Hey everyone" he starts
"Well I know all of you are here with your family or friends or both having a fun time before the year 2014 ends. The important thing about this is that you want to make sure you have an amazing time before the countdown happens. You guys find it important to be with your friends and family. Well I'm Ross and I'm not spending New Years Eve with my family but with my two best friends. We came here to see our best friend Laura who's in the front row right there" he said pointing towards me
Everyone looked at me quickly then back at Ross
"She moved away and we hadn't seen her in 6 months. So Laura, we came here to see you since we missed you so much. Laura we missed you, we love you. Laura without you I'm nothing, you're an amazing person who can make me smile when I'm feeling sad. You made me see the daylight when I thought I'd be stuck in the darkness forever. Laura, I love you more than a friend and I can't live without you."
My heart skipped a beat, did he just say that. Millions of eyes are on me and the camera as well. But I didn't care! I ran up to Ross and grabbed the microphone.
"I love you Ross"
I then heard everyone saying "aww" then they started counting down.
"And I can't live without you" I say
He then kissed me and I put my arms around his neck.
"..2,1 HAPPY NEW YEAR"
everyone screamed
"HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ROSS AND LAURA" they all screamed
We pulled away and I spoke in the microphone
"I had a beautiful ending to 2014 and now an amazing start for 2015"
We smiled while everyone said "aww" again
We hugged, I then felt other arms around me
"RAINI! CALUM" I scream
"Happy New Year" they said
"Happy New Year" I say
This has been amazing
"This is a memorable event that I'll never forget" I say
"Mission accomplished" Ross said
We all laughed and enjoyed the rest of this moment
