I shook my head violently in defiance. "No. I'm not going to be yours. You must have the wrong girl." I lifted my hands up in defense, my fight or flight sensor screaming in every cell of my body. Although, if I ran, I would surely be caught instantly or tracked down in a matter of seconds. I felt so trapped. There was no where for me to run to, or any ways for me to get out of here. At least for now. I know that due to my past actions, Noah is not going to let me anywhere out of his sight for a long time. My actions were limited at this current time.
Noah approached closer, "You are mine and you are not going anywhere." His voice sent another shudder down my spine, and my brain was telling me to run. To hide. To hit him. To do something. But I could not bring myself to it. I know he is stronger than me, and he will overpower me in seconds, just like he did before.
If I wanted to win against him, I would have to play it smart.
Noah was even closer now, in my thoughts I had not realized he had gotten so close to me. His body now pressed up against mine, pinning me effectively where he wanted me.
"Please." I muttered, my eyes shifted up towards his green ones.
Noah tutted and cupped my chin with his large hand. I could still smell the soup that I had dumped on him only moments ago, along with his subtle cologne that he wore.
"I don't understand why you are begging, it will get you no where." His mouth seemed to twitch in amusement. Amusement at my shaken state. I knew he was not going to admit it, but he definitely enjoyed my panicked state. "You don't have a choice in the matter." He laughed finally, causing me to rip my head away from his grip. "I love you and you are going to stay here with me." His voice turned softer when he said this last sentence. But I had tuned his voice out, my own anger flooding my thoughts.
My eyes widened as I remembered my parents begging me to switch programs in school. Their stern looks of disappointment. Noah's words sparked an anger in my stomach that I could feel rise up to my throat. Nobody was going to tell me what I could and could not do. I was done with that.
I felt my legs begin to shake intensely and my stomach knot up with a mix of anger and hatred towards this man. He was another person that thought he could tell what I needed to do, and treated me like I was another pawn that he could play with whenever he wanted.
My cheeks heated up in disgust and I scrunched my eyes. I could not contain my anger for much longer.
I brought my knee up to Noah's stomach within a second. So fast that even he could not even register what I was doing until it was too late. In the same moment, Noah hissed in anger and I shoved him away from my body by his shoulders. His large frame hit the ground and I could hear him breathing heavier.
I stumbled around his crumpled frame on the ground and bolted towards the bedroom door. My shaky fingers grasped at the knob as I turned it open. I fled out of the room as fast as my shaky legs could carry me.
The sudden rush adrenaline coursed through my veins and all throughout my body. My hair whipped behind me as I tried to slam the door back shut behind me.
I wanted to plan this out more carefully, but my body could no longer take standing there and listening to him talk in such an insane and irrational manner. My fight or flight instincts had kicked in, and they had chosen both fight and flight.
I could heard Noah shuffling around and darting after me, but that did not slow my pace. It only made me go faster. I found myself hopping down the stairs two at a time, not having a single clue of where I was heading.
The only thought that was inside my head right now was to escape, and I was not going to let anything stop me from doing that. Even if it was irrational, I just wanted to get away from him, even for a short amount of time.
