Chapter 1: Too Early to Confess

Soobin's POV

"Class Dismissed."

Finally! This class is over and I need to go get that girl before I'm too late.

Ms. Kang left the room already so there's no one that could stop me now.

"Soobin!"

Except for Yeonjun-hyung of course. How could he yell in front of our classmates. Right, no one would mind because hyung is just, whatever.

I stopped from walking but I didn't looked at him or turned my head at his direction.

"Don't tell me you are jeal--"

"H-hyung!" Damn, I stattered. I need to be cool. "Bye."

I ran away from him as fast as I could. "Phew!"

I slowly walked in the hallway, catching my breath. Where could she be? They should be dismissed already. We are just in the same grade, but different floor.

There! Without a word, I grabbed her as soon as she got out of her room. This maybe rude, but I'm kinda shy to ask her with her friends around. They may get the very wrong idea.

I dragged her in this empty room.

"Hey! That was mean!" She said punching me in the arm. I expected that she was going to yell at me but punch me?

"That hurts, you know?"

She rolled her eyes. "I don't like you."

"W-what?"

She tapped my shoulders while nodding her head. She looked like she was comforting me. "Its fine."

"Wait, but why would I like you?" Confused, I removed her hand from my shoulders.

She looked closely at my face. "Choi Soobin?"

I nodded. "Hwang Yeji, right?"

She jumped. "Yes, I am! Oh my goodness! I can't believe it! What do you want from me?"

"That's much better than punching and shouting at me. But why the sudden change?"

"Junnie told me a lot about you! Their all good don't worry! Well, I liked you a long time ago even though I haven't talked to you but whatever! That's a long time ago! Where's Yeonjun by the way?"

I didn't know that she was this hyper. And I also didn't know that hyung told a lot about me.

There's also a lot of questions in my mind. But this was the most important. Without hesistation, "What is Yeonjun-hyung to you?"

"Eh? You came here just to ask me that question?" She asked half smiling.

"Uh-huh."

"Yeonjun is..."

"is...."

"Is what?" She is such a cliffhanger.

"My... Boyfriend!"

I felt like my heart just dropped. Hyung had a girlfriend? I thought that he liked me. Why is he clingy to me then? Am I just a friend to him and a brother that he felt like he needed to take care of? Am I just a bes--

"Kidding! Hahaha!" And she laughed like there was no tomorrow. She even banged her head like a rockstar.

"That's not funny." I rubbed my nape to ease my embarrassment.

"O-okay, okay. Yeonjun is my brother. Not by blood, but by heart. Our parents were best of friends. I guess that explains everything?"

"Thanks, noona." I know we are months apart but I felt that I'll like to call her noona.
