PREVENT THE SCANDAL

Leeteuk had been feeling uncomfortable ever since he had received that call. He had made sure that all the members were doing their work properly and had got their schedules cleared for the evening. He had informed everyone that there will be a meeting tonight at their dorm and that everyone should be on time. He had also informed their manager to let him know about his plans and that no one should disturb them.

As he was leaving from his last schedule for the day, the phone call and the conversation came back to his mind. He asked his manager to let him drive and that he is off duty for the day. He then went straight to the place where Hee Chul would usually go for a date. As soon as he reached, he spotted his member with his girlfriend. Looking at the table and the surroundings, he assumed that the date has just begun. He began to look around by moving here and there and spotted three people in three different places with cameras in their hands and furiously clicking photos.

Before, he could rethink about his actions, he found himself sitting at the same table as the couple. He politely introduced himself "hello, I am Leeteuk, the leader of the group Super Junior. I am sorry to interrupt your date this way but it is kind of necessary to do today, though I don't really like meddling with the personal life of my members. For today, I would like you to dismiss your date here so I can take my member back with me. Knowing him, he won't have driven you here and since I have brought my car, I can give you a ride back home."

Hee Chul looked at his leader in astonishment, anger boiling in his nerves like he could blast any moment. He looked at his girlfriend for understanding him this one time and said "I am sorry for inconvenience but this is the first time my leader has come down personally to get me so I guess it is definitely something important. I would like it if you could understand and help me out this one time. I will make sure this doesn't happen next time." The girl nodded understandingly and said "I will let go of you this time. Since you offered, can you please drop me off at my home?" She asked looking at Leeteuk. He nodded and led them all to his car.

The journey till her home was quiet, very quiet. As soon as she stepped out of the car and went inside her building, the explosion took place. Hee Chul shouted "what the hell Jung Soo- ah. You said you don't like meddling in our personal affairs then why the hell did you have to barge into my date this way? Do you have any idea how embarrassed I was after listening to what you said to her? It was so hard for me to keep my mouth shut up till now. And what is with this new leader thing? You were never like this. Who the heck had taught you to abuse your leadership powers like this.....?" He could have shouted for a few more minutes had the phone of Leeteuk not rung.

Leeteuk looked at the caller id and put the phone on speaker mode instantly. The caller on the other hand started "well done but till when can you save them. You can't keep on interrupting their dates as it will just ruin your relationship with your member and you can't prevent them from dating as it will only make you look bad and suspicious. How do you plan on saving your group from this scandal? Also, because I know that Hee Chul-shi is right next to you and probably listening to me, I would like to inform that she doesn't actually love him, she is just toying with him because she is forced to. Can you save her respect, your group's image and a provoked Kim Hee Chul together?" He ended with a very devilish laugh.

While Hee Chul was still recovering from all the information he had just received, Leeteuk, who has had enough of it replied "I would like to see someone trying to barge into my family affairs. I know how to keep my family together and I am really thankful that there is someone out there who is looking for my members with as much care as I do. Regarding the girl's image, if she is doing something wrong, I am not responsible for it and I am definitely not letting any of my members image go down with it. About my group's image, no one in the world has the power to touch it, forget disrupting it, because it is protected by me and my members. Lastly, if you think that my dongsaeng is someone who takes steps which can affect the group without consulting me, I would like to see you trying to provoke him to take some action for some more time. Also, I would like you to never forget the fact that till the time Super Junior is guarded by me as their leader, no one can harm us. Try it if you want. Good bye."

With that the call ended. Hee Chul was shocked beyond limits and had no words to express  what he was feeling. He felt stupid for not trusting his leader enough and felt idiotic because he understood how blinded he was by materialistic things. By the time he recollected himself he heard the other ordering him to call his girlfriend. Without any second thought he took out his phone and called his girlfriend, who he so badly wanted to break up with. He wondered how the leader will scold her for playing around with his feelings etc.

The phone rang and rang until she picked up and said "yes oppa, is your leader gone now that you could finally contact me or are you already missing me?" He wanted to reply back so harshly and badly but before he could say anything, the other spoke "hello, its Leeteuk speaking. We have met a few minutes ago, if you remember. Well, I had something to inform you about. I am really sorry but you can't meet Hee Chul-shi again. Thanks to you, he is being grounded for two years and all his activities are directly under my supervision. Also, his phone will be taken away so he cannot contact anyone. Thank you." Without listening to the reply from the other side he just ended the phone call.

This came as a bigger shock to Hee Chul. All of his queries were very visible on his face but instead of clearing them up, he picked up his phone and made a group call. After a few rings, everyone picked up the phone and it turned out to be the girlfriends of other members. He said the same thing to them as well that they can't meet their partners or contact them. He also told them to react naturally when his members will call them to inform them about this. All of them agreed and said that they will support and try their best for their love.

After that he made another call. This time around, he called his members who picked up their phones almost instantly, he knew the reason. He sternly said "everyone be at the dorm of 12th floor in half an hour. I want everyone without any excuses. Also, Shindong, order some food and beverages for everyone, I will pay for it." Everyone was shocked to hear this but the stern in his voice made them comply almost instantly.

After the call ended, he spared a glance at Hee Chul who was staring back at him with eyes wide open. He laughed and asked him why he was staring that way. He just replied a nothing and looked away. His mind was still trying to process everything that had happened in last fifteen minutes, after he was forced to leave his date. While he was thinking what to say and how to ask his questions, he noticed that they had already reached the building of their dorm. He also saw that the cars of almost all the other members were there. Now he was excited and nervous. He felt shitty because he thought all of this was happening because of him and he didn't want to face the reality. But he had to because that's what his leader has done all these years to keep them together whilst taking away all the blame and criticism upon him.
