The two were holding each other tightly, as if they never wanted to leave. Even though they knew they would never leave one behind.

Kevin was a little sore from the night before. He slow started to sit up, trying not to way his snoring partner as he made his way to the bedroom door. He slowly opened the door, as a small squeak was let out by the boor. Quickly turning back in the beds direction he let his breath out, not knowing he was holding it. After he knew Raph was still asleep he scooted out of the crack he managed to make in the door with out waking him.

Making his way to the bathroom, Kevin stopped to observe what was lying on the coach. He never thought he would see something like that, not out of Mike and Don. But still it was possible. All they have is each other, and this thought made Kevin think of his mother. His mother was just a little shorter than her only son. Kevin shook the thoughts of his mother from his mind and made his way into the small bathroom.

He began to wash his face with warm water but he couldn't stop himself from thinking about his mother. His mind went back and forth from early childhood to the last moments he had with her.

Once again shacking the hopeless thoughts from his mind he started the shower and stepped in. Putting one had on the wall in front of him, letting the water run off the top of his head all the way down his back and off his tale. Kevin's ears shot up in alert when he herd the bathroom door open. He froze in place, who could be up at this hour!? He thought if he was quiet and still maybe they wouldn't realize he was the first to clam the bathroom that morning.

What am I going to do about the shower!?

The figure slowly made its way to the shower curtain.

"Hey, stop! Someone's in here!"

The figure bargain to pull the curtains back.

"Don't cha tink I know dat?" Raph said in his thick Jersey accent.

"God Raph, you could have said it was you that came in! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"I'm sorry! Don't really tink any body wants ta see ya naked any way." Raph said with a cocky smile.

"And what do you think your doing any way? Can't you wait and take your shower after me?" Kevin said halfheartedly.

"Saves water dis way." Raph said.

"Yeah whatever." Kevin said turning back to the running water.

"What's wrong? Ya seem uneasy."

Kevin let out a puff of air as he surrendered to Raph, "I've been thinking about my mother lately."

"I bet ya miss her?" Raph said as he started to pull Kevin closer to himself.

"Yes I do. I wish I could have told her I loved her one last time." Kevin said holding back the tears that were screaming to be let free.

"'Em sorry I can't really help ya with stuff like dis. Ya know I never had a mom." Raph said as he let Kevin hide his face in his plastron.

"It's okay Raph, at least you try to help. I didn't get much help from the other prisoners that were in Dimension-x."

As the two finished there shower they made there way back to the shared room, carful not to wake anyone.

"Would you like to know what happened to her?" Kevin asked.

"Sure." Raph said getting ready for, what he thought would be a sad story. And he was right in most aspects of it.

"Well I guess I should start at how we ended up in Dimension-x. As you know I was never a human, I was a Dalmatian puppy. Me and my mother were owned by a human couple. We were being walked one day when our owners were attacked by the Krang. I never figured out what happened to them though. I don't really remember much after that up till the point where we were mutated. My mother, in later years of my life, told me what happened to them though. It wasn't right." Stopping to think about what went on next in his life Kevin looked at Raph and found the site heartbreaking, "Raph what's wrong?"

Raph's face was dark and it had the look of anger, "God damn krag, Killn' innocent people."

"Hey no one said it would be a happy story. And it's not over so get comfortable..." Kevin said sitting in Raph's lap.
