Quality Time

They were fast on the roof tops. The dark night sky cascaded across their shells. There was only two. It was quite, way to quiet for Raph.

"So where we headed? Kevin didn't exactly tell me." Raph as he cocked his head to the side to look at Leo's slim form.

"Well he said that we should just go someplace that won't makes us fight..." Leo looked back at Raph. How could he be so perfect? Why? Why him? Why did he fell this way?

"What are you looking at?" Raph said as they jumped friends from a roof top.

"Nothing... Nothing at all!" Leo quickly looked forward.

"I know it's hard for you..." Raph said as his face began to turn a dark red.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean Kevin. I can see that you don't like him being around, but you have ta understand that I love him... A lot."

There it was. Raph loved Kevin. He would never love Leo. Hearing this made Leo's heart brake into a thousand little pieces that landed on the butterflies in his stomach. He couldn't go on anymore, he just stopped.

"Leo come on what are you doing?" Raph said as he walked closer to Leo.

Leo couldn't move. He saw Raph getting closer, but there was nothing telling him to go. he didn't understand why Raph didn't love him back.

'Is this what it's like?' He thought to himself. 'To be forgotten, and left alone... This world isn't real, is it? No, it cant be.'

"Leo? Leo come on, why are being so weird?" Walking a little closer to his brother Raph put his hand on Leo's shoulder.

"I...I...I love you Raph..." Leo held his head low clenching his fists so tight he thought they might bleed.

"Yeah, I know." Raph said with a smirk.

"You...know? What do you mean!?" Leo said as he took several steps back.

"What I mean is i know you love me Leo, we all love each other."

'he didn't understand'

"Yeah...yeah we do," Leo looked up but didn't see Raph. He began to scan the roof they were on, "Raph! Raph where are you!?" Panic took over inside of Leo.

"Calm down!" Raph said as he came into view from the side of the building.

"Where the hell did you go?" Leo yelled.

"I went to get these," Raph held up a pair in blue banded katanas," I had to look everywhere, but I found some. I hope you like them."

Leo couldn't take. He couldn't move again. These were for him, form Raph. Should him take them? Why was Raph doing this? He didn't truly know that Leo REALLY loved him, more than a brother. Did he?

"Leo, don't act like I don't know."

"What?!" Leo said as he was snapped out of his trance by Raph.

"I know you don't just like me as a brother, so does Kevin. But he isn't mad at you, I'm not ether... but you have to listen to me..." Raph was cut off but Leo as he yelled at the top of his lungs.

"I'm sorry, I know it shouldn't be that way but it is! I fell in love with you and you didn't love me back. you found someone else, and I can't take that..." Slow, hot tears began to fall form his face. they were salty as he opened his mouth to speak.

Raph didn't know what to do, he had never seen Leo cry like that. He had to think quickly so he pulled Leo into a tight hug and told him, "I know I fell in love with someone else...I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you like you wanted me too." There was a long silence. Then Leo began to squirm away from Raph's grip.

"What does he have that I don't!?" He asked in a demanding tone.

"What are you talking about? Leo, your my BRO...we can't love each other like that."

The tears Leo felt earlier were reappearing. He couldn't hold back the full blown force of the sadness he was feeling...all the emotions finally coming out and he couldn't take them. He slowly closed his eyes and began to fall.

'Why me? This isn't fair! Why me?'

The last thing Leo heard before he hit the hard cold stone of the rooftop was Raph's voice, "LEO!!!"
