Chapter 5- Explanations

Recap: "Audrey?" I ask her.

"Yeah hun?" She responds

"Were am i?" I ask her. Her smile fades for a second, then comes right back.

"Wonderland my dear. Welcome back."

Chapter 5

Sleep confronted me short after the visit from Audrey. I quickly gave in, letting my eyelids drop.

"Trinity honey? Wake up. The doctors here." I hear Aaron's voice separate me from my restless sleep. I awake to a oddly short bald man standing above me. He snapped by my ear, and shined a light in my eyes the usual. Then pulled out some paper work and some medicine and started talking to Aaron.

"Should i have you or her sign these?" The doctor asks him.

"I can." Aaron responds.

"Ok here is her medicine, i made it myself. Should heal her up right away." The doctor says to Aaron then walks out the door. Aaron walks over to me and pours the liquid medicine into a measuring cup on the cap then hands me a glass of water to chase it down. He then laces our hands together and lays. His head down on the bed. My eyes slowly close as sleep overrides my body.

"Trinity? Trinity?" I heard my name being called, and my body being shaken slightly. I peeled open my eyes with slight hesitation, and looked into the eyes of my awakener, Aaron.

"What?" I asked. Fear filling my voice and features at the sight of his worried face.

"We need to talk." He responds. Then gently sits me upright in bed. He then laces our fingers together, and all my fear washes away.

"Do you feel that?" He asks. "That pull towards me? Do you feel all your bad emotions, all the pain and suffering instantly wash away at my touch?" He continues. "I do. When you're hand is in mine all my worries about why youre back and if you remember anyone all fade away. All that matters is you." He finishes. I sit there quietly comprehending what i just heard. 'Is this a dream? Or did this amazing guy just confess his love to me?'

"Please say something." He pleads.

"I do two." Is all i manage to squeak out. His stiff worried posture instantly relaxes and he looks into my eyes. 'Okay my turn.' I think to myself.

"Just a minute ago you said i have been here before and that you worry if i remember anyone. I don't. I dont remember this place at all, i dont remember you or Audrey." I speed up panic hitting me full force. I look down and see my hand is unlaced from his and sorrow caresses his features.

"You dont remember?" He asks me quietly.

"No." I whisper.

"Audrey!" He yells, nervousness attacks me as i hear the slight anger in his voice. I grab his hand quickly and he relaxes. He sits down.

"I'm sorry, i reacted that way." He says then kisses my forehead as Audrey walks into the room panic obviously etched into her features.

"What?!" She asks.

"Please get trinity dressed. We're going to walk around town." He says before standing up and walking out he door. The instant he leaves the room my body goes haywire.

"He left you, like you left us."

"Finally i can talk to you. He is mighty protective of you."

"Do you remember anything? I'm sure you remember me."

"Now that youre back, come visit!"

"Is the wedding still on?"

Voices bombard my fragile brain. I wimper slightly. Audrey looks at me worried then rushes to my side as i let out a scream.
