Her boots squeaking, she walked down the well-trodden path. The jetty was in sight. Mossy trees and tall, overgrown grass surrounded the path. Giving it a scary, horror movie vibe. Anything could have been there, but, her 'lucky' Doc Martins would keep her safe, right?
The grass cleared as the Jetty got closer into view. It looked abandoned, and derelict, but very much in use. A few wooden planks were missing, but they were easy to avoid.
She stepped onto the jetty...
