💙Chapter 5: Don't Feel Guilty🖤

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?! SHADOW NO!!!" I screeched as I saw my lover's quills get pulled out. I was horrified... As the video finished, I immediately went to my group chat that contained Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Mighty, Charmy, and Silver.

Sonic: Guys...watch this video.... (Sends video)

Silver: Omg...Manic is gonna pay when we find him...

Mighty: It's not only him Silver...

Tails: It's also Amy...

Knuckles: Annnnnnd Sally...

Charmy: Uh...ARE WE GOING TO IGNORE THE FACT SCOURGE IS RECORDING THIS?!

Sonic: Yes I know...we HAVE to rescue him...I mean...

Tails: Your true love?~ UwU

Sonic: XD Shut up Tails and all of you help me get Shadow back. Grab any weapons you can find. Meet me in front of my house.

Rouge: You can count on us speedy boy.

As soon as I finished texting my friends in the chat, I looked around for any weapon that was strong enough. I saw a buzzsaw. Too murderous. I saw a bat. Too heavy. I saw a knife. Perfect for giving them scars...I left with my knife and waited for everyone to arrive. I noticed once everyone came, they were all dressed like gangsters, wearing black leather jackets and black jeans. I laughed as I saw them. "What are we? The Chaoti-" Knuckles had caught on and interrupted. "No Sonic...just no..." He replied while glaring at me. I laughed and led the group to where Shadow was. The strong scent of bloody quills invaded our noses.
I covered my nose in strain from the smell and continued to walk.

Then...we found the bastards that did this to my poor Shadow...

My eyes squinted heavy of rage...

"Well well well~ Look who decided to crash the party!~" Scourge spoke as he laughed at Shadow's crying body. My heart dropped as I saw my lover cry. It was painful to watch...

I then held the knife and raised it, ready to strike like a bolt of lightning. I brought it down quickly and slashed his chest pretty brutally. Scourge screamed in pain and covered his bloody furry chest. "You...bastard..." Scourge mumbled in rage. I felt satisfied from that attack. Shadow looked at me like he was really happy I came to rescue him. His tears fell down faster with every soft cry he looked at me.

I feel like giving him a hug.
But something...else is telling me to make another move...
But I kinda like this feeling~
But I'll save it for when the time is right.

As soon as Scourge fell on his knees to the floor, I glared at Amy and Sally, who looked at me in horror. "Don't even come near me or Shadow anymore you bitches..." I growled in demand. The two girls ran away, not wanting to be killed. I then glared at the one who did every action in the video...

My brother...

"I thought I knew you better Manic...I thought I could trust you...I thought we would still be together as brothers..! BUT NO! You fucking grew up to be distant from me! You never spoke to me and our sister! You only went to go out with your three buddies to clubs, drink, or smoke! You never appreciated a damn thing me and my sister did for you! REMEMBER WHEN OUR MOM HAD TO LEAVE US?! SHE SAID "Kids, be sure you treat each other well..." BUT YOU DISOBEYED OUR MOTHER'S WORD! And now...you have nerve...to harm my boyfriend...What kind of asshole for a brother are you..?" I glared at the ground as I shuddered. I felt darkness take over me like I was in an empty room. I did my best to contain my dark side under control. The whole entire alleyway was quiet. Even Manic looked at me with wide eyes.

I felt the need to pack the punch already. I looked back at my friends and told them not to attack unless I deemed it necessary. I brought my fist out and punched him in the face, not caring if any bones in his face broke. I was too angry to even care about my brother's anguish anymore. Manic covered his face and looked at me in surrender. I glared at him deep, like my eyes were two knives, cutting into his skin. Manic eventually got the message and ran back to his home. Scourge also did the same eventually. I sighed until I noticed Shadow was the only one in my sight.

I smiled and ran to him. I bent down to his level and hugged him tightly. Shadow hugged me back and put his face in my fuzzy chest, wanting to cry. I blushed from his sudden move and smirked. I let him stay there as I pet his slightly bloody quills. Thankfully not a lot of his quills were yanked out of him. "I-I'm sorry Sonic...I-I'm sorry I had to get you involved in t-this..." Shadow managed to say through his tears. I hugged his waist and pulled him onto my lap as soon as I sat on the floor. I hugged him more until I spoke. "It's ok my love. As long on you're safe in my arms, there's nothing for you to be guilty about." I cooed in his ear. I felt Shadow's smile grow.

"Uhhh are we interrupting something here???" Silver interrupted while having the "why-the-fuck-are-we-here???" face. I laughed and got up. "Nah it's okay buddy. How bout you guys get home? I'll deal with Shadow." I told my crew. All my friends nodded and went back to their homes. Me and Shadow walked in the dark woods, back to our house.

As we walked, I felt Shadow tugging on my arm softly. "Um...Sonic..?"

I looked at him. "What's wrong love?"

Shadow fiddled with his fingers before blushing heavily and asking me, "C-Could you carry me..?"

He looked so damn cute when he blushed. I then laughed. "Of course love. C'mere." I brought my arms out to carry him bridal style. Shadow looked at me with smile and I did the same. I held him in my grasp, not wanting to let him go as I walked back to our house.

I kicked open the door and carried him to the bedroom to place him in the bed gently. I felt that feeling again but once again, I didn't want to do it so soon. I just took a breath and laid down next to him. Shadow immediately scooted next to me and placed his head on my chest. As he fell asleep, I smiled and gently grabbed him and placed his sleeping body on top of me. I wrapped my arms around his waist and let him rest his head on my chest. Before I fell asleep he spoke with a purr, "I love you Sonic. Thank you for rescuing me." I smiled and replied, "Anytime my love. I just want you safe." And with that, the bright moon shined on top of sleeping bodies as we drifted into sleep together.
