"Hey Fai whats the matter?" Sakura almost whistled.
"Nothing Sakura-chan." Fai replied sheepishly turning red.
"Why do you call me so formally, why do all of you call me soo formally?" Sakura question everyone.
"Because Sakaura-chan, you're of royal blood." Syoran answered.
"How, well I guess I really wouldn't know due to my memory loss." Sakura paused. "I'm going to do anything I can to help find my memories." Sakura clenched her fist as she stood up looking ever so determined. Just as she finished standing up she blacked out again, falling into Fais' lap.
Surprised Fai gently sets her down on his mat, he had used for a bed the night before. Fai slid his hand through her hair softly checking her temperature. Fai was surprised by how cold she felt, it was probably due to her memory loss. It still felt un-natural.
"Syoran-san Sakura-chan is ice cold what do you suppose we do?" Fai questioned worried.
"You can leave her here, I'll take good care of her. You all need to work together and find her memory, you'll need all four of you to get it found as quickly as possible." Ms. Mary, the lady who helped them with a little shelter for the past couple days, assured them.
"Mary-chan, we can't ask that of you. You've already done so much for us im afraid we won't be able to repay you." Syoran explained.
"Well you can't tske her out on your shoulder, like a bag of books now can you. Besides its no bother to me, I really dont have anything else to do in this place. You wont have to pay me. It's fine really." Mary smiled folding her arms.
"Huh... well if you insist. Thank you Mary-Chan." Syoran gave in.
"You best be on you way out the door for your goose hunt." Mary laughed a little.
"Yeah yeah, Mokonas getring bored in here." Mokona whined.
Fai followed the group as they filed out the door, stopping to give Mary a hug in gratitude for all she's done.
"Thank you." Fai said for the last time, for a couple hours at least.
The group started out in a small backstree market, didn't find anything except food and some clothes. They made their way all through out the town until noon when they decided to take a break.
" Mokona have you sensed anything?" Kurogane questioned crossing his arms.
"No, nothings made Mokona go 'PTING' sorry." Mokona stated.
"Well that's a shame thanks for helping buddy." Fai said qhiping his forhead. "It's hot here huh Kuro-poo?"
"I told you not to call me that." Kurogane snarled.
"My my, someone's a little grumpy. Maybe we should eat to calm our little K-9 down." Fai teased.
"Thats a good idea Mokona is hungry." Mokona chimed bouncing around.
"Thats a good idea I am too." Syoran agreed with the other three.
"Maybe I should cook the white pork-bun over there." Kurogane said devilishly.
"NO MOKONA IS NOT FOOD!" Mokona bounced away from Kurogane, onto Fais shoulder.
"Now now Kuro-poo, we need to be nice." Fai held up one finger while closing his eyes and walking backwards.
"Quite that your gonna run into someone." Kurogane looked worried for a minute before snapping. "Nevermind."
Kurogane was silent the rest of the day. After eating and chasing after Mokona for stealing his food again he said nothing, not even to tell Fai to not call him names.
As the sun started to go down the four filed in threw the door to be met by Mary, and her smile. They were all tired and slouching, a little disappointed for not finding anything again for the third day in a row.
"How was hunting?" Mary asked.
"Well, not very good at all Mary-san. Not even a lead." Fai broke the news before sighing.
"Hmm well I have an idea of a palce you can go tomorrow, it may not have anything but then again it might. The big library on the other end of town might hide something." Mary confessed.
"Then thats the first place we'll go tomorrow." Syoran perked up a little. "Hows the princess?" Syoran was cautious.
"Oh she's fine all in one piece sleeping over there in that room. All snuggled up, I must say shes quite adorable. Like a little mouse in a blanket." Mary chuckle at the thought.
"That's good to hear." Syoran settled a little, readying himself to sleep. "Good night everyone."
Kurogane did the same. Fai decided to follow. He didn't know what else to do. He laid there unable to fall asleep. He wondered if someone was still awake. There was silence in the room. Could Kurogane still be awake.
Fai sat up and look in Kuroganes direction, pondering if he should say something. He decided not to and laid back down. A little while later Fai felt a body over him.
A big, toned, shirtless male, with messy hair, loomed over him. Fia roled over to see Kurogane looking him in the eye. Without a word he leaned in and kiss Fai on the lips, pressing his tongue into Fais mouth. Searching his facial cavity, as if charting every tooth and bump on his tongue.
Fai closed his eyes in enjoyment, letting their tongues wrap around eachother in a beautiful dance. Suddenly Kurogane pulled away.
"Keep quiet, or you'll never have your fun again." Kurgane hissed and crawled back to his mat.
Fai couldn't figure waht had just happened. How could he just leave him like that. Some how Fai found it easier to fall asleep after this.
