After that night Fai couldn't put his mind to rest. Thinking about that kiss, he knew exactly what it meant, but had no clue how to handle it.
Syoran Mokona Kurogane and himself spent most of the next day making their way to the big Manuka library at the northern edge of town. They left fairly early before the sun was above the great mountain, but they still were only about a quarter of the way by mid-day.
"This is useless by the time we get there we are going to be starved and tired!" Kurogane said discouraged.
"Don't be so hasty Kuro-poo, we're almost there, besides we can take a break once we get there." Fai reasured.
Kurogane didn't say anything after that, but traveled a little closer too Fai. Sometimes shoulder to shoulder.
It was almost nightfall when they finally reached the doors of the Manuka library.
"We made it we made it Mokona feels Sakuras feather in there!"Mokona yelped.
"Really?! Are you sure?" Syoran questioned harshly.
"Of course!!! Of course!!!" Mokona jumped around excitedly.
"Well do we just go in snooping around or do you have a plan?" Fais curiosity got the best of him.
"Well we can go in looking for books then when mom Mokona-chan says the waves are getting stronger then we'll set a more narrow path." Syoran planned out.
"That sounds great and all but what about the people inside? What if whoever is in there, knows what power is in that flower and will do everything to protect it?" Kurogane pressed.
Syoran paused unable to answer.
"Well what do you suppose we do Kuro-poo?" Fai helped fill the silence.
"Yeah yeah what do we do Kuro-poo!?!?!" Mokona chimed.
"We go in separately, and look around at books until the white pork-bun senses the feather and gradually make our way towards it." Kurogane explained.
"Great plan how do we get out?" Syoran questioned.
"That is going to have to be a play by play." Kurogane explained.
"Sounds great we can do this Kuro-poo came up with the greatest plan ever and it's gonna work." Fai encouraged everyone.
"Alright who goes first?" Kurogane asked.
"I will Kurogane you should come in five minutes after, Fai 10, Mokona stay with Fai." Syoran ordered.
"Right." Mokona and Fai said in unison, while Kurogane just grunted.
Syoran started up the large stairs to the librarys' enormous wooden doors. The doors were engraved with beautiful art work, fine and suttle. They automatically opened for Syoran to walk into the even bigger library.
Walking in Syoran could see nothing but books, walld lined with shelves full of books. And in between each wall was four rows of shelves book facing the back wall and the front doors. The space between each shelve big enought for two- three people in between each.
Towards the back there was a faint glow of bright blue. Syoran decided to wait to investigate until Kurogane and Fai could be there with him. So he picked up a random book and sat in a bean bag and read, waiting for his allies to follow him in.
