Ch. 2

Lucy's POV

Since yesterday I've had this cat.. human... angel thing living in my house. I still don't quite understand it but i gave him a few hugs this morning to keep him somewhat alive until I'm prepared to k-kiss him... that part still makes me blush a bit..

As of now I'm cooking breakfast, avocado toast with some bacon. I plated the avocado toast and put the egg on top of the toast, then putting some sliced avocado and pepper. I plated the second one since the cat/human/angel thing asked me to make some for him as well. I then put the plates on the counter of the island and called him to eat. "Hey! It's time to eat!" I yelled, hearing a little ok in response. I see him walk out of my room with the basketball shorts but no hoodie on. I blushed a bit but didn't really mind since I've seen guys without their shirts before (A/N: I'm sorry but the fact that Lucy always gets flustered when she sees Natsu with no shirt, it's like dudes never have their shirts off 😭)

"Good morning.." he said in a low voice. Jeez that voice. I could get used to this..

"Good morning sleepy head," I say with a small smile "there's your breakfast."

"Oh so this is what breakfast is! It looks delicious!!" He says, drooling over the sight of it. It seems like
He magically woke up I guess..

He picks up the toast and takes a bite and you see the instant satisfaction in his eyes. "Oh my god this is amazing.." he says, looking mesmerized. I smile and giggle a little, "glad you like it," I say, happy that he liked my food.

"Oh I don't like it. I love it!" He said immediately eating the rest of it and devouring the bacon. I had already finished it so I was washing my plate in the sink. "Hey can you bring that here?" I asked him. "Sure!" As soon as he put the plate down into the sink he wrapped his hands around me and put his face in my neck, "thank you for the food.." he said, kissing my neck a bit. I got a bit flustered but smiled anyways. "You're very welcome sir."

"Whatcha doin?" He asked. "Oh I'm washing the dishes in the sink!" I told him. "Dishes? Sink? What are those??" He said tilting his head a bit. I explained it to him and he nodded, understanding what I said. I guess angels don't really need plates since they don't have food so it makes sense.

"Hey," I said. "Yeah?" He answered. "you never told me your name.." I asked him. He lifted his face a bit and saw what I was doing in the sink and responded, "oh, I don't have a name. You're gonna have to give me one," "oh.." I said, thinking a bit. "Then how about Natsu?" I said. "Ohhh! I like that!" He exclaimed, smiling a big toothy grin. My heart melted a little when I saw that smile. "Well you give off that kind of vibe so I guess it suits you!" I said, not taking my eyes off the dishes.

Natsu's POV

I had a thing called 'breakfast'. She was in the 'sink' washing these things called 'dishes'. I still didn't understand humans but I guess that's pretty smart of them. But despite doing all of that human crap somehow she looked beautiful. I don't think people can look this good doing house chores. Does this girl ever look ugly? "Doesn't that mean summer?" I asked. "How'd you know it meant summer? It isn't in English it's in Japanese.." She asked, looking at me confused for a bit before turning back to the 'dishes'. "Japanese? What's that? as for summer I just know the translation I don't know what it means.." I asked tilting my head. She giggled a bit and explained it to me, even though she had to explain it more than once for me to understand.

"Well all these human terms don't matter to me at the moment, I just wanna hug you," I said, a small grin on my face. She had finished washing the dishes and I grabbed her wrist and took her back to her room. She got in the covers and I was there behind her, my head nuzzled in her neck while keeping her close. She flushed a bit but grabbed a book from her nightstand and started reading. Then I just dozed off for a bit..

Time skip..

I woke up from my little nap and saw her still reading her book. She noticed I was awake and nuzzled a little bit into me. I smiled and hummed. She looked like she was curious about something, so I asked her what was it that she was curious about. "Well, if you don't understand what the terms summer and Japanese are then how do you know English? Aren't you supposed to be new to earth and all of that?" She asked. "Well, whenever you picked me up I could understand you perfectly. The thing is we speak Multiple languages where I live, so I guess I understood which one you were talking in and went along with you," I explained. She nodded her head and asked another question, "but then how would you not know what summer and Japanese mean?" She asked. "Well Where I live we don't really have one single language. We just speak multiple but don't have names for them. And as for summer we don't have times of year since it's always a cold up there."

"That's actually really interesting.. huh." She said, tapping her chin. I chuckled a bit and she looked up at me. "What's so funny?" She asked, knitting her eyebrows together and being adorable. "Nothing. Just that you look cute," I said with a smirk. She blushed a bit but not as much as I wanted her to. "Thanks.." she said, looking down and blushing a bit more. I put my hand on her cheek and lifted her face. She was blushing madly but biting her lip a little. God that's hot...

Lucy's POV

He grabbed my cheek and lifted my face up. I bit my lip seeing his face and staring into his onyx eyes. I could get lost in those eyes..

His face was actually closer than I wanted it to be. Considering he still hasn't put a shirt on, I could see his stomach and his very defined six pack. I wonder if angels work out.

he flipped me over and laid me down onto the bed, while burying his face in my chest. I was blushing. He had only been here for a day but I think I might be falling for him..

I stroked his hair a bit and we sat there in silence for a while until he fell asleep.
