Finn looked down at his hands with red cheeks and a slight smile on his face. I knew I just meet him but I felt this urge of excitement run through me at the thought of him with someone that made him blush, it was as if he had been one of my best friends telling me how this cute guy asked her out.

"Well..." He trailed.

"What's her name?!" I squealed quietly.

He shook his head as if I was just a typical girl, "Good night, Ellie." He said before getting up and walking towards the stairs.

I stared at him as he slowly made his way up the stairs, making sure not to make a sound. I walked back to my room and lay down on my back. Starring at the ceiling fan until I drifted off back to my semi sleep.

I had realized that I didn't have my alarm clock set when I felt something poke my side and say, "We really need to buy you an alarm so I don't have to keep doing this."

I rolled over to see a wide awake Finn, "How are you so awake? You got like no sleep."

"When I sleep, I'm in such a deep sleep that even if I hardly get any it will feel like longer. Now come on, it's already six thirty and you need to get out there in an hour so I would start moving."

"Shut up, Finn." I mumbled and tossed a pillow in his general direction.

"You missed." He said before leaving my room and closing my door with a loud bang.

"Hmmmm...ugh." I moaned before rolling over until I hit the floor and then crawled over to my bags which were still packed. I pulled out a white sports bra, a pair of faded blue jeans and an old flannel button shirt. Just like the day before I rolled the sleeves up before heading out towards the kitchen.

"Good morning!" Lisa said to me in an over cheerful voice.

"Morning." I answered before walking towards the pantry. I grabbed some cereal, then went to the cabinet, getting a bowl and spoon from the draw and going to the table. I realized I forgot the milk and went to the fridge to grab some when Finn entered the kitchen. I got to the fridge first, getting hold of the milk. When I passed him on the way to the table I bumped his shoulder with force.

"Oww. What was that for?" He asked.

"For waking me up." I said and then poured myself some breakfast and going into an eating, peaceful silence.

Finn sat down next to me, looking as though he was thinking about saying something but wasn't sure if he should. "Just say it." I said after a large swallow.

"Nah, I'll tell you after you feed the animals." He replied.

We sat there in a silence for a few minutes, it wasn't uncomfortable. I was eating my cereal while he was having a glass of milk. The only things that was bothering me was that he was looking at my funny, as if he was trying to figure out a tough trig problem.

            "Stop it." I said.

            "Stop what?" He asked.

"You're staring and it's freaking me out." I slurped the rest of my milk before heading over the sink, rinsing my bowl before putting it in the dish washer.

After that I headed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face, patting it dry with a clean hand towel. I decided that I was probably going to want a shower after I finished up so I went and grabbed a towel and set it in the bathroom so it was all ready for me when I was done with work. I slung my curly blonde hair into a low pony before exiting the bathroom. It was 7:13 by then and the animals don't need to be feed until around 7:30. I walked over to the couch and sat down, flipping through the channels until I landed on Good Morning America. One of the only news shows I could watch without getting a headache. I sat and watched for fifteen minutes before heading out towards the barn.
