a 2kim au in which chaewon is popular on twitter, and minju has been sending her curious cat messages every day for a couple weeks. chaewon is curious to know who is making her smile everyday...

minju sent her tweet and immediately flopped back down onto her bed. i'm not readyyyy she whined in her head. at least she would see yujin, yuri, and nako today. her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the familiar whistle of twitter notifying her of a mention. she looked at her phone and rolled her eyes.

she knew yujin adored her, but that didn't stop her from being annoying. minju sighed and continued to get ready for school. she was putting on her socks when she remembered she had to send chaewon a message. minju had been following chaewon for awhile now, but only recently had she decided to send her anonymous messages daily in an effort to brighten her day. minju didn't know her personally, but something in her heart told her that she was deserving of some extra love. she thought for a second before coming up with a nice message for chaewon. she sent it and smiled. minju had always tried to make other people smile. that's actually how she met yujin. she and yujin lived near the same park, which is why minju had once found yujin crying after falling off her scooter when they were both younger. minju helped her up and even bought her an ice cream once the tears had stopped. from that day on, they were pretty much inseparable. minju remembered their first meeting fondly and she hoped yujin did too. she was shaken from her thoughts when she heard her mom calling her for breakfast. she shook herself out of her thoughts and headed downstairs to start her day.

chaewon greeted yena with a smile when she got in the car. "get in loser, we're going to school." yena said, smirking. chaewon smacked her playfully before putting her seat belt on. "so how was your summer, chae?" yena asked, eyes on the road. "you ask that like we didn't just go to the mall together last night." chaewon giggled and rolled her eyes at the older girl. "well, then how did you sleep?" yena asked. "i slept fine, it's waking up that's the problem." chaewon sighed while scrolling through her timline. "understood, i prefer sleeping to being awake too." yena said while pulling into the school parking lot. chaewon looked out the window and saw vaguely familiar faces walking into school. one she knew was a freshman, but the other she didn't quite recognize. wow, she's really pretty though... chaewon thought. her eyes watching the girl's long pink hair flowing with the breeze, then moving up to her face, her delicate features becoming even more beautiful as she laughed at something the freshman said. yena brought her out of her focus by snapping in front of her face. "earth to chaewon." she smirked. "who are you looking at?" she asked, looking out the window to get a peek at the object of chaewon's intense gaze. "n-no one." chaewon huffed, looking away to hide her blush. yena spotted the two girls chaewon was so focused on. "oh, those two? they look awfully close.." yena teased. "not like i care." chaewon said, crossing her arms. "suuuure." yena replied. "come on chae, you can't stare at them all day." yena opened the door to get out of the car. "it was only one of them..." chaewon muttered as yena was getting out. "what was that?" yena asked. she knew what chaewon said but she wanted to tease her some more. "nothing! let's go!" and with that, they began their first day.
