jimin looked over at yoongi and questioned whether he should take up on his offer or not.

"how do i know you're not just trying to lure me into your home so you can kill me" jimin whispered to him knowing that they were still at a public café.

"really? you think a calm boring librarian is going to want to murder you? i just want to hang out and help you with your assignment so you can finish it"

"what's with you and wanting to help me get this assignment done?"

"look, jimin, i'm a high school drop out okay? i don't really know anyone in that's in high school except for you. i want to watch you succeed because i couldn't do that. alright? that's why i want you to do this and get a good grade on it." yoongi wore a sad expression on his face. He really did feel like crap for not completing high school but he just couldn't do it.

jimins heart was pounding so hard. "you dropped out? why?"

"i- i don't really want to talk about that right now, it's uh- personal" yoongi looked upset and jimin didn't like that one bit. he reached his hand out and held on to yoongis hand. he rubbed his thumb over the top of yoongis hand trying to reassure him. "hey, it's alright, please don't be sad, i'll sleep over at your place tonight but if you kill me you're so going to go to jail" jimin smiled and yoongi laughed lightly. "okay okay let's go then"

on their way to yoongis place, jimin had called his mother to let her know he was sleeping over at a friend's house.

'friends house? yoongi is my friend?' jimin tried holding in a smile. he looked over at yoongi who was driving in his car. it was a nice small red car with a leather interior. it was soft and comfy and smelled just like yoongi which jimin loved.

*buzz*

taetae💜: ayo jimin! dude how's it going, you home?

jimin: nah bro, i'm actually gonna sleep over at a friend's house

taetae💜: WHAT FRIEND CAUSE FROM WHAT I KNOW YOUR ONLY FRIENDS ARE JUNGKOOK AND I

jimin: okay so maybe i became friends with one of the librarians...

taetae💜: HOLY SHIT WHAT?! duuuuude no way!

jimin: yeah i'm in his car right now

taetae💜: omg what if he kidnaps you?!

jimin: nah i don't think he'll do that. he's actually super sweet and i... kinda have a huge crush on him

taetae💜: AHH OMG WAIT I GOTTA TELL GUKKIE
jimin: oh god

taetae💜: ANYWAY, nah jimin stay safe but like,,, get laid or something idk. BYE

jimin: i hate you tae, bye bye!

by the time jimin had looked up from his phone yoongi was pulling into a parking space. the neighborhood looked quiet and calm just like him. the building complex was so beautiful with plants bordering the whole building.

"wow, this place is beautiful yoongi hyung" jimin's mouth was open, gasping.

"thanks, it's nothing much really"

once they got out of the car yoongi led jimin up to his apartment on the 15th floor.

"hey watch this" yoongi took his keys out and shook them in front of this door. all of a sudden a barking noise came from the apartment.

"YOU HAVE A DOG?!" jimin's face was so bright yoongi almost went blind. he laughed and nodded.

"yep, he's so cute, ready to meet him?"
