NO ONE'S POV:
(The next round is about to be announced until the girls of class 1A come out wearing cheerleader uniforms due to Kaminari & Mineta tricking them into it.)
(Y/N's thoughts): I thought you were better than that, Kaminari. But I must say that they look great in those uniforms, especially Jiro. Aw! She's embarrassed! That's ador--I'm starting to sound like Yu.
(Cut to the matchups about to be announced.)
Kirishima: Aw, yeah. Finally getin' the chance to show what we're made of. I watch these finals every year, and now I'm actually in them!
(Y/N): This has been quite the experience so far.
(Midnight says that the participants will draw lots to find who they will be facing before she can start both Ojiro & a boy from class 1B withdraw because they don't know how they got there & it wouldn't be fair to themselves or the other students. Ojiro's classmates try to talk him out of it but he's already made up his mind.)
Kirishima: Listen to these guys! They're so manly!
(Y/N's thoughts): Should I withdraw as well? I'm in the same boat as them...No! I'll just prove that I belong here!
Midnight: This sort of talk is incredibly naive, my boys. That turns me on! Shoda! Ojiro! You're withdrawn!
Students: Did she say it turns her on?
(Y/N places a hand on Ojiro's shoulder.)
(Y/N): Ojiro, I respect the hell out of you for what you just did. I hope you don't look down on me for not withdrawing with you.
Ojiro: I don't, (Y/N)! It's just something I felt I had to do. Just promise me if you go against Shinso, beat him, for the both of us.
(Y/N): You got it!
(Ojiro & Y/N touch fists.)
(As Ojiro & Y/N are having their conversation, Midnight moves Tetsutetsu & Shiozaki into the bracket after the ginger girl said that her team was just frozen the entire time while Tetsutetsu's team kept fighting.)
Midnight: These are your opponents!
The matchups are:
Kirishima vs. Tetsutetsu
Tokoyami vs. Yaoyorozu
(Y/N) vs. Mina
(Y/N): Good luck, Little girl.
Mina: I can't wait to melt your butt.
Midoriya vs. Shinso
Sero vs. Todoroki
Bakugo vs. Uraraka
Iida vs. Hatsume
Kaminari vs. Shiozaki
(Some students participate in the side games while some take this opportunity to rest up and/or strategize for their match. But Y/N takes this opportunity to call his sister.)
(Y/N): Hey, Sis! Did you see me in the obstacle course?
Yu: Yeah! You did great! Coming in fourth, too? That's pretty impressive.
(Y/N): [chuckles] Thanks, Yu. So how's the security job going?
Yu: It's so boring! We're just walking around the stadium or guarding entrances and exits.
(Y/N): Isn't that the job of security though?
Yu: I guess you're right.
Kamui Woods: Get off your phone! You're supposed to be working!
Yu: Sorry, Kamui. I gotta go, (Y/N). Talk to you when you win this thing.
(Y/N): You bet!
(Y/N ends the call.)
(Y/N): Thanks, Sis. Just the confidence boost I needed!
(The first match begins between Midoriya & Shinso.)
Shinso: So you can just give up, huh?
Midoriya: [gasps]
Shinso: In a way, this is a test of how strong your spirit is. If you know what you want your future to hold for you, you can't worry about what other people think. That monkey was going on about his pride earlier. But I think he's just an idiot for throwing his chance away. And while I'm at it, that giant didn't withdraw. I guess he's okay with being a puppet.
Midoriya: [gasps] [growls] Don't you talk about them that way!
(Midoriya stops in his tracks.)
Ojiro: [groans] I warned him not to say anything!
(Y/N's thoughts): You should of listened to him, Midoriya.
