Chapter 2

Dylan's pov:

What have I done wrong...I was supposed to kill him,but I didn't.I was supposed to get Max's heart,but I didn't. I sat against the hotel window,the inner turmoil killing me.I knew I was supposed to kill him...and that was what i was going to do...

I walked to Max's and Fang's room,and knocked." Come in!" Fang called.I walked in,andFang growled." Man,I'm sorry ,can you walk with me?" Fang reluctantly got up.It was all falling into place...

" What do you want to talk about" Fang said,warily. I didn't answer.I brought him to a quiet forest clearing where no one would find us and attacked him.He took a blow and fell." I win Max now,she's mine!" I yelled,and hit him again.Before I could deliver another blow,I heard the swift swoop of wings,and was knocked out.

Max's POV: I took the knocked out body of Dylan and threw him as Hard as I could into the lake in front of me,and stayed to make sure he wouldn't come up again. I helped Fang get up,and I flew him to our room where an anxious Gazzy,Nudge,Total,Akila,and Iggy were waiting with medical supplies.I tookFang too the bed and kissed his forehead. A smile lit up on his face.
