Chapter 18

Christina POV

I reached the lake that Hannah and I found and I sat there not really knowing what to do

They may know what I am by now

I sigh hearing footsteps I looked to see Hannah walking towards me

We sat in silence until she groan

"I feel guilty why am I the one feeling guilty it should be them" she said rolling over I chuckled at her

"Its the mate bond I am to be Luna of the pack and your going to be the beta female the second highest in the pack" I told

"Stupid mate bond"

"It seems to me that I'll never get a break" I said as I heard more footsteps

"Well well well so it seems we have the future Luna and beta female laying around I'd say we won the jack pot" a familiar voice said I froze completely

Turning around anger filled me I stared at him

"Robert" I said

He looked at me shocked before  recognition cross his face

We all stayed quiet for a well before fear took over his face he tried to hide it but I already saw it

"Well would you look at that I thought you died" he said trying to sound tuff but his voice crack at my glared

"It seems that I haven't mange to kill you all but I will and I will be taking down my son at the same time be a dear and tell him I'll be visiting soon" he said before he ran with his two rogue friends

"Come on Hannah we are leaving its time i have a talk with Kayden about his father Robert" I said she froze

"Was was that THE Robert" Hannah said and I nod

Getting up she joined me and we headed back the lake was not on the pack grounds so it will take us a while to get there

A few minutes later

We arrived back at the pack house the meeting room was clear and Hannah went up to sleep well with her mate

Since it was dark outside I made sure that there was no one would spot me before I shifted .

Its been so long I used this time to let red out and she feed before she gave me back control I ran around for a few hours more then shifted and ran into Kayden mansion

And there he was sitting on the sofa with his face in his hands he must of felt me since his shot up and ran to me he hugged me tightly his face in my neck as took in my scent

He pulled away and kissed me I was shocked by it but responded none the less

The kiss lasted for a few minutes before I pulled away he rest his forehead against my as both our breaths came out in pants

"Where the fuck were you" he said looking up I saw that his eyes were completely black a his voice was deeper I knew instantly that this was his wolf.

Rising my hand I placed it on his face he growled and stuffed his face in my neck he left kisses as he growled then he whimper

"Mate doesn't love me anymore" he said with his face still in my neck

"Don't say that" I told him running my hand through his hair he purred and lifted me up he ran to his bedroom and threw me on the bed.

He crawled on top of me keeping his face in my neck

"Mate we're sorry please don't be mad at me" he whimpered out
