Chapter four: a nightmare

Sonic's POV

I woke up this morning with amy cuddling me and smiling, I wonder why she is smiling? It cant be me could it? Is she smiling because she's thinking of me?...y'know she's something, she's kind, she's funny, she's beautiful and most of all she understands me, its weird that she didn't scream when she saw me? she can see that I'm a monster...can she?, Maybe she is scared of me? I dont know but for now she's adorable just snuggling her head in my chest, i'm loving this but I gotta go and get some breakfast before she wakes up.

Normal POV

Sonic carefully got out of amy's grasp and stood up to get his hunting equipment, he got his bow & arrow and walked outside to hunt for their breakfast.

******In amy's dream******

She was walking in the woods at night time staring at the beautiful stars that shown through the branches of the trees, listening to the silence of the woods and the crunching of the leaves under her feet as she walked, suddenly she herd a snap of a twig behind her that froze her in fear from the sudden noise and then herd more twigs snap, she was telling herself to move but she was so scared to do anything but she knows if she doesn't move right now this might be the end of her, amy was so in thought to move that she didn't realise what was happening around her then she herd a growl that snapped her out of thought and made her run straight forward not caring that she might bump into something, but then out of nowhere she tripped on a root that was sticking out of the ground and fell onto the forest floor, she was getting up but she was held down on her back by something that she couldn't move at all and she was too scared to look at what was stoping her, then she made herself have enough courage to look at what was doing this when she did she was struck with fear as she was staring at two familiar emerald eyes that was staring at her with anger at her,she didn't know what was going on with sonic like why is he doing this? Did she do something wrong? Then suddenly sonic roared in her face that made her scream before everything went black...

Princess amy's POV

"AAAAAAHHHHH" oh...my...god, that was the most horrible nightmare I ever had, wait a sec... Where is sonic he was here a moment ago, I gotta go and find him but that dream it seemed so real...I hope that it will never happen in real life, I got up and looked around to see if he was here, hmm, guess he's not in the cave so I went outside to go look for him, I think he's probably gone to get something to eat for breakfast for us. I wonder what he will get, maybe deer or something like that, I looked at all the wildlife around me it seemed so natural for me even though I've been in a castle for all my life and the sound of the birds singing with their different tunes are so relaxing I wish I can live in a forrest even though there might be some scary creatures that might attack but its so relaxing out here.

Normal POV

Amy walked about in the forrest to find sonic to talk about her dream and maybe he might know something of it, she wandered through the forrest to find him then she herd something nearby and walked over to where the noise came from. She looked behind a tree because it might be dangerous but then she went stiff when she a blue hedgehog sitting on the grass by a lake with a bag probably full of hunted animals or something, to her the hedgehog seemed familiar but then it hit her' is that...sonic?' She thought. She did remember that sonic's fur was midnight blue so his fur maybe goes darker when he was a werehog, she walked quietly to him then spoke" hi" when she said that the ocean blue hedgehog jumped at the sudden noise and looked behind him, he couldn't help it but stare at her with lust in he's emerald green eyes. She noticed him staring and she blushed with out him noticing, he snapped out of it and realized that she was blushing then he started to blush as red as roses and so was she. She then spoke again " so...um...are you...sonic?..." She was not sure if it was him because that will be very awkward if it wasn't him " yeah, this is what I really look like, what do think?" He said with a cocky smile that made amy blush then she said " well... You look good... I guess..." She was a bit shy and when she herd his real voice it was really a good voice " good? Heh, is that all?" He chuckled " well what am I suppose to say that ' you look beyond handsome and hot' or something?" She said with a little annoyance in her voice " no, its just I feel like thats not what you think but what you just said about 'beyond handsome' that sounds real" when he said that she blushed neon red and whats more embarrassing is that he can see the blush but then she remembered about the nightmare then she decided to talk to him about it.
