Princess amy's POV

I close my eyes shut and waited for death....but I didn't feel anything? So I slowly open my eyes, and when I did I saw large shimmering emerald eyes staring into my jade ones," are you okay?", said the beast as it was looking for any injures. " yes, and what are you?, and how can you talk?, and why did you save me? And-" he put he's clawed finger on my lips, I thought it was kinda rude because I'm a princess after all. " okay, okay, could you slow down with the questions and at least a thank you would be nice." He said as he took he's finger off my lips, " oh, i'm sorry its just that I've never seen a creature like you before and thank you." I smiled at him and he smiled back " you're welcome and I'm a...werehog." He said as he smiled nervously," a werehog? I think I heard story's of them but I didn't know they were real, I thought they were just myths." I said as I stared at him up and down at him looking at every detail,he wore a teared up white long sleeved shirt with brown tatted pants and wore no shoes," well they are real because I'm your proof and what is your name?", " well if I tell you my name please don't tell anybody that I'm here,"," okay and I promise that I won't tell anyone.", " okay, my name is princess Amelia but you can just call me amy.", " princess...wow no wonder your that beautiful, I-i mean... Err...ah..." When he said that he blushed from what he said," well thank you, and its okay you don't have to be embarrassed." I said with a smile at him," o-okay, Oh and I forgot since I know your name, my name is sonic."," well thats a interesting name, but not trying to be mean but why are you called that?" I said hoping that I didn't upset him," well...If you didn't know I look like this when its night and when its day I look like a normal hedgehog,and I'm called that because when I'm a hedgehog I run as fast as the speed of sound."," really, wow you can run that fast cool."," thanks but since your a princess...aren't you supposed to be in your castle?"," well...yes, but I've been in that castle for my whole life, so I ran away because my life there is boring and I have to marry prince scourge tomorrow." When I said that I started to tear up,"hey, its okay I think the same thing, how can you live in a boring life just knowing that it will be your life forever until you stand up for yourself, and I assume that guy was scourge.",Wow he...he understands me, he wiped my tears away with he's thumb and smiled at me and I smiled back," hey, if you want to you can stay with me and I can help you find somewhere to live."," really! Thank you." , I hugged him really tight and looked at him with a smile on my face," your welcome and just so you know I live in a cave so its okay if you don't wan-", I interrupted him," its fine, I don't mind." He smiled at me then he got up on two legs and..... He was huge he was at least one foot and a half taller than me, then he picked me up bridal style." Is it okay if I carry you like this?", he said that while blushing and I giggled." What? Whats wrong?", " nothing its just that you look cute when you blush and its okay to carry me.", when I said he blushed even redder and started to walk, when we reached the cave he laid me down and grabbed the blanket from my bag, he put the blanket on me and laid down beside me, I snuggled closer to him to get more warmer and he put his right arm around me, he pulled me closer to him and I laid my head on his furry chest, and sonic and I fell asleep but before that I was thinking that I'm falling in love with him and him the same to me, I wonder what he really looks like?.....
