Art Book 2!!!

Lately, I've been getting into...

Avatar the Last Airbender. (wow, that was subtle XD)
I watched all three books with my brother, who is now in the Marines as of yesterday, and I have to say, it's absolutely amazing.

I love the characters, the creativity with elemental bending, nearly EVERYTHING about the show.

So, after watching it, I was filled with AtLA inspiration and created my own ocs for it. Hear me out, though, because most people that make ocs for this usually have them in the normal times for it, while I do not.

My character (main, anyway) is Masuko, a firebender. She was trained as a soldier from a very young age. However, she turned against the over soldiers with her when they were ordered to steal everything from a village in the Earth Kingdom, because she realized she didn't want to hurt people, and forced the other soldiers out of the village without majorly damaging anyone. In the night, however, she was handed over to the Fire Nation soldiers by the village in trade for their safety, and she was locked up. Because she committed treason by helping the village, she was going to be executed. However, she escaped by just barely using airbending, while her brother stalled the guards in hopes she would figure a way out.

She no longer cares much for people, but her heart belongs to animals, which she deems innocent and trustworthy. Since she's the Avatar, this means that it'll take a lot of persuasion until she's ready to trust people again.

The story I'm making on her takes place in a time that's more future than present, but technology is very early. You may ask how this is, with LoK having more up-to-date technology. Well, a long time ago, a group comprised of skilled fighters from all four nations formed a group and tried to take over the work. Although it failed, most of the technology that belonged to everyone but the group was destroyed or taken by the group. When the group was defeated, war broke out over who should get the remaining technology, as all the nations had been relying on it, and the tech was destroyed by a small group to stop the nations before they destroyed each other, leaving them without their technology.

Masuko was born a long, long time later, so most knowledge of such technology is long forgotten.

Masuko, after escaping, traveled around a bit (before settling down in the mountains), and turned herself into someone else for each nation, hoping to have a name to become if she was forced to live in an inhabited area of any nation. While she did her best to avoid the air nomads (because of altitude), she still brings an outfit for acting like an air nomad in her bag, if she has to.

I'll show you them all in the order of which ones I dislike most to which ones I like most.

I don't know why I dislike this one so much, but I do XD

It's hard to tell, but she's wearing makeup, including black lipstick, and that combined with her smirk makes her resemble Azula, something I'm not particularly fond of. I don't like Azula, even if I understand her. I've disliked her ever since I first saw her.

I can't color fire for the life of me. Otherwise, I love this one :3

There's something about this one that makes me love it, but I don't know what it is...
Maybe her hair? Maybe she looks good in blue?
