F*ck! I gotta pee! Angelo thought as he gets up. He was sleeping soundly when he suddenly felt the urge to pee. He quickly gets out of his tent and walks a few meters away from his tent. And from there, he does his thing. Aahh, such a relief, he thought.
Angelo zips his pants up and walks back to his tent. He stops his tracks when he suddenly hears a distant sound of leaves crunching, similar to what they heard from earlier. He looks around to check if somebody's there, but he finds nothing. He decides to go back to his tent but the sound is getting louder, as if the owner of the steps is getting closer to him. Angelo feels chills.
"Who's there? This is not a good joke!" The sudden harsh blowing of the wind is the only response which Angelo got.
"Yo! Seriously! This is not funny!" Angelo's heart beats faster. The moment he hears the sound of a distant laughter, he runs fast to go back to their site; not only driven by his fear, but also by his desire to check on his friends.
He arrives at their campsite and he is met with nothing but the campfire. The tents and his car is not there. They're not here?, Angelo's heart pounds loudly in his chest with this thought.
"Guys! Where are you!?" he calls out, only to hear the loud echoes of his voice along with the distant sounds. He calls out a few times more, but he gets no response. He looks around and he hears more bone-chilling sounds from a distance: laughter, crying of a child, crunching of leaves and other sounds he couldn't explain.
Angelo's fear is overflowing. He hates to admit, but he's in the verge of crying. His fear drives him to run, just letting his feet take him away. Angelo's heart pounds loudly in his chest, as if wanting to free itself from his ribcage. Angelo looks ahead and sees lights passing by. Those are cars! I see a road ahead!, Angelo feels a little hope rise in his chest and decides to run faster having the desire to get there immediately. Unfortunately, he trips over a rock. As soon as his body meets the ground, he feels something around his ankle; something like a hand -- a cold hand. Angelo is given no time to react, the thing quickly drags him back to where he was running away from.
"AAAAAAAAAA!!!"
"Babe?! Babe! Wake up!" Angelo abruptly sits up, still panting. He looks around and sees his friends surrounding him who all looks worried.
"H-huh?" He looks at them, confused. He checks himself. I'm okay. I was dreaming? But it felt so real, he thought.
"Did you just have a nightmare?" Jessy asks, intrigued.
"Dude, are you okay?" Kristoff gently squeeze Angelo's shoulder. He sees Angelo's worried expression. Angelo grabs his shirt desperately.
"We have to leave this place now." Angelo is gripping Kristoff's shirt tightly while looking at his friends in the eyes as he speaks.
"Angelo calm down." Addison says. But Angelo is serious. He gets up and starts packing his things, his friends just looks at each other. They all try talking to him but Angelo just ignores them he finishes and grabs the car keys. He turns to look at his friends to talk to them but wind blows along with a faint whisper interrupted him. This causes him to panic.
"Wow, the wind is crazy. I almost thought i heard-" Kristoff interrupts Jessy.
"You heard that too?"
"No way. Don't scare me." Addison tries to act tough. Frustrated, Angelo speaks up.
"Guys, that's what I'm-"
"Wait, let's listen closely." Avie cuts her boyfriend off.
"Guys, I told you-" but again, Kristoff cuts Angelo's words off.
