the rest of your evening was spent with you watching from the bleachers, as tendou guess blocked his opponents. he was pretty damn good at it (even though you had no idea what was considered good or bad) you thought as you watched in amazement. every now and then he'd look over towards you, as if he was making sure you were paying attention. which you definitely were, as you sat in awe at the teams skill. soon enough, the practice game was over and you found yourself making your way towards tendou as you hopped off of the bleachers. you found him easily due to him being a literal redhead, approaching his side with a grin on your face. Shiratorizawa had won the practice game, leaving you feeling proud as ever for him.

"congrats on your win! now come with me." you said, not even giving him time to respond as you dragged him out of the gym, his teammates directing a confused glance towards the two of you. "thanks (y/n)! but where exactly are you taking me?" he looked down at you questioningly, as you continued to drag him along. "it's a surprise." you responded, the two of you making your way through Shiratorizawa's huge campus. "but I wanna know where you're taking me!" he protested, pouting. "then it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it? no more questions!" you giggled, shaking your head.

you reached up to attempt to cover his eyes, as the two of you had finally reached your destination. "close your eyes tendou, i don't want you to see until we're inside" you said. he complied, squeezing his eyes shut as you took a hold of his wrist again, guiding him inside. you sat him down in a little booth near the back of the surprise destination, before sitting across from him. "you can open your eyes now." you smiled, as you watched the redhead do so, his eyes widening as he took in his surroundings. you had taken him to a little ice cream shop, one that didn't get many customers. he stood from the booth, eyes staring in awe at the many flavors of ice cream. he turned back towards you, a grin plastered on his face. you giggled, as he took your hand and pulled you out of your seat. he wrapped his long arms around you, hugging you a bit too tight. "now now, try not to squish all of the air out of me please." you said, a faint blush on your face. he let go reluctantly, as if he enjoyed having you close. you smiled up at him, before pushing him towards the front of the shop so the two of you could order.

"this is so good!" he said, with a mouthful of chocolate ice cream. you shook your head at the goofball across from you, before taking a bite of your (favorite flavor) ice cream. "how'd you know my love for chocolate ice cream?" he questioned, before shoving another spoonful of it in his mouth. "i'm psychic" you joked, smiling.
