Evelyn's Book of Magic

Introduction/A/N

So this is the book of magic for my original series, The Angelic Demon. Yes I came up with a name. Evelyn is an Analysis Magic user, so she knows all this stuff. Well, I'll leave the rest to her

Evelyn: Aly! Don't make me talk to all these people!

Angelica: What? They need and explanation!

Evelyn: F-fine. I'm Evelyn, and I'll be giving and explanation for all the types of magic in the author's original series.

Angelica: Just start already!

Evelyn: Shut up Aly, I will. Just don't make any perverted jokes

Angelica: I'll try. I'll be recording *starts tape*

Evelyn: O-okay. I guess I'll start with the basics of magic

~The Basics~

Evelyn: I guess we can go over vocabulary first

Angelica: No one wants to hear about that!

Evelyn: Shut up! I'm explaining it anyway *clears throat*

Mage- A person that uses magic

Mana- The magic particles that a mage absorbs. Say if a magic is removed from someone's body, like in my girlfriend Vanessa's case, it is transformed into mana and can be absorbed by another mage if compatible

Magic Sack- The sack inside a mage's body that stores magic. A normal mage has two sacks, but in Angelica's case, she has over 10. A mage can open a new sack if they have the compatibility, like an ice mage can open a water sack, and also if they don't, but that's complicated and will be left for another time

Closed Sack and Open Sack- If a magic sack gets closed for one reason or another it is temporarily closed off. The mage must reopen it with a healer's help or by themselves through tough training. If it is an open sack, it is fully usable

Healer- A mage that has specific powers made for healing. Mio is a healer, Angelica is too but she's awful at it

Angelica: She's not wrong

Evelyn: I think that's all the vocabulary I have for now.

Angelica: Uggghhhhh

Evelyn: Oh, right! I forgot one!

Hybrid- a mage that has two types of magic that have different bases. For example-

Angelica: That hasn't happened in the book yet!

Evelyn: Oh, right, I forgot. Now let's go through some slightly more complicated stuff

Base Magic- A magic that is the base for other types of magic. For example, Water Magic is the base magic for Ice and Steam Magic. Meaning Water came first and evolved into the other two. A base and it's branches all have to have the same nature or it will cause-

Evelyn: Hehe. Guess I'll move on

Branch Magic- This was kind of explained in the last one, but not fully. It is rare for a mage to be born with branch magic, meaning that I've got a pretty cool girlfriend. Actually it means that it is easier to learn the branch and then the base instead of the way most mages have to do it

Inherited Magic- A magical trait a mage has inherited from a family member of other person. For example, the royal family of Cina all had light purple eyes that were amazing trackers and could see people across the dimension. That is, until Angelica, but that's also complicated

Angelica: And a spoiler!

Evelyn: There's one more thing that is simple.

Closed Door- A closed sack that is permanently closed. For example, when Vanessa lost her Ice Magic, the sack disappeared, making it a closed door
