Was it a dream?

The next morning.

As Hinata woken up, he felt dizzy and felt nauseous. He sat upright on his bed, once he looked to see what time it was, he saw a note on the side table he had beside his bed.

I'm sorry for not telling you.
Whether you remember or not, doesn't matter.
I did not mean to hide it. I was nervous.
The more I was beside you, the more nervous I have felt. If you would like to meet I don't mind. Sleep well.

That was written on the note, it didn't say anyone's name. Instead Hinata had remembered a hazy memory he had of last night. He remembered hearing Kageyama's voice, but he still thought it was a dream.
To make sure he messaged Kenma.

What happen?

I don't know if
it was a dream or not.
But is Kageyama back?

I'm not sure.

After Hinata had texted him, Kenma didn't respond to his question. Hinata was left under suspicion. Instead he did his best to leave it alone but the curiousity made him eager to know whether it was Kageyama or not.
Hinata decided to get ready to have a jog outside. As he left the house, he jogged from place to place, as he was jogging. He noticed a person that looked like Kageyama, he then went closer to the person, As he went closer to the person he noticed that the dream he had last night was not fake.

He pulled on the person shirt before crossing the street, he had told the person to stop and wait a minute. "Isn't that you. Kageyama." He said breathlessly. The person turned to look, Hinata wasn't wrong, it is Kageyama. Hinata had a lot of things to say to him, but instead he pulled Kageyama's hand to bring him into a nearby cafe. As the entered the cafe, Kageyama couldn't run away, he could've but Hinata would've chased him and caught him.
As they sat at an empty table, Hinata was ready to talk to Kageyama but wanted to order a drink first before talking.

The waitress had arrived at their table and had given them a menu. " Kageyama. Go ahead and order something, I'll be paying." Hinata insisted. "No I'll pay, I doubt you have enough money. Plus I have to apologize." Kageyama told Hinata. He looked at Kageyama with shock but also with relief that he is okay and safe.

The waitress got ready to take their orders.
Hinata was first to order. " I'd like to have the matcha tea, with the uh. With the chocolate cake!" Kageyama covered his face with the menu and slighted smiled knowing Hinata hasn't changed. " I'll take the mocha latte." Kageyama had order nothing else but a drink.
Hinata looked at Kageyama as if he's holding back from eating like he did before.

Meanwhile as they were waiting for their orders, hinata started to talk first.
"Why haven't you messaged me. You haven't texted or call. Was I being annoying?" Hinata pleaded with this sad look on his face.
Kageyama has saw what he had done to Hinata and he felt guilty inside, he also didn't know how to talk to Hinata without being mean like it was his nature since they both had a love hate relationship.
"I just didn't want to tell you. While I was at the states, I kinda lost my phone. I got another phone but I didn't know your number." Kageyama responded. Despite it seeming so stupid. Hinata didn't know if it was true or not.

The idiot Kageyama has lost his phone over the states. Hinata looked at Kageyama with the look that says ' you're stupid ' then Kageyama looked at Hinata knowing what Hinata is saying. " I'm glad you are safe and back. If you leave one more time you have to tell me." Hinata told him. Kageyama nodded, while screaming internally due to Hinata being so sweet.

As they were talking, their orders had been served. Hinata started munching on the choco cake with joy and his cheeks filled. Kageyama was enjoying just by watching Hinata eat the cake in happiness. As he took a sip of his mocha latte it tasted a bit bitter for him. Hinata noticed that Kageyama made a face that says the latte was bitter.
[ I don't like coffee either I used to like it 💔 ]

Hinata took the fork and took a piece from his cake and offered Kageyama to try while bringing the fork with cake closer to his mouth. We all know that Kageyama is internally screaming.
" Kageyama. Have a bite of this it probably will help a bit. Say Ahh." Hinata had suggested him to do. Kageyama leaned in to take the bite that Hinata had offered. While he took the bite his heart was beating so loudly that he thought Hinata could hear.

Kageyama had leaned his face over on the table and clenched his shirt on where his heart was located at. In the back of his mind he told his heart to shut up. " Kageyama. Are you okay?" Hinata had asked. " j-just worry about yourself." Kageyama rude nature had came in. Hinata looked at him and angrily ate his cake.
" you aren't getting anymore cake." Hinata angrily told him. Kageyama was on the verge of having his heart bursting out of his body.
"S-shut up dumbass." Kageyama stuttered.

As Hinata had finishing up his cake and his drink, Hinata had more questions to ask Kageyama. Meanwhile Kageyama is having a midlife crisis due to Hinata being cute.
[ I would too. I love hinata so much mygod ]

" Kageyama do you. Perhaps have someone you like? Everyone else have lovers. So I just wanted to know if you did too." Hinata said while his finger is circulating around the cup rim.
As Kageyama was drinking his latte, he choked and had to pause for a moment. He thought for a moment if Hinata wanted him to confess or was just asking. "Why do you care, dumbass." Stupid Kageyama had said.

Hinata then looked at Kageyama that was blushing pink, as he said that Hinata felt like Kageyama already had a lover but didn't want to tell Hinata. "This is getting weird, do you still want to hang out a bit more?" Hinata asked. Kageyama was confused on why he said that it was getting weird, he didn't get the vibe but he agreed that he would hang out with him a bit more.

After they left the cafe, Hinata planned where they should go next. Hinata then said that they both should watch a movie together.
Meanwhile in Kageyama's mind.

Kageyama's back but that isn't the real reason why he didn't tell hinata Muwahahhaa.
